- This unit is not intended to be used by people

  • younger than 8 years of age
  • whose physical, sensorial or mental capacities are diminished
  • who do not have the necessary knowledge or experience

  • Do not let children play with the unit.

  • Only children over the age of 8 can, with adult supervision, clean and maintain the unit.
  • Keep the unit and the power cord out of reach of children under eight years old.
  • Make sure that the voltage of the network corresponds to that indicated on the information plate of the unit.
  • Always unwind the cord completely. If you use an extension cord, you must use a model equipped with a ground connection and wires of section greater than or equal to 1 mm2.

APPLIANCE SETUP

  • This appliance is for melting cheese or chocolate, warming or heating sauces and for frying foods
  • Use the electrical socket with rated current of 10A or over. Do not share the same electrical socket with other high power electric appliance at the same time.
  • Make sure that the thermostatic knob is on "MIN" position before plug in.
  • Before using for the first time, clean the pot with a soft sponge and a non abrasive washing-up liquid, then operate it a few moments without any food in order to remove the “new” scent. A small amount of smoke may also be noticeable. Ventilate the room during this period.
  • Put water or oil or cheeseor chocolte in the pot and make sur ethat teh total amount does not exceed 80% of the capacity to avoid overflowing. When using oil, it is recommended to reduce the quantity even more.

UTILIZATION

  • Connect the appliance to the mains socket. Place the pot on the heating plate and make sure the bottom fully contacts with the heating plate.
  • Turn the thermostatic knob on MAX, the indicator light turns on and the unit starts warming up.
  • It is normal that the indicator light may cycle on and off due to thermostatic control. This controls the pot temperature in order to ensure a perfect cooking.
  • Turn the thermostatic knob to MIN after use to tun off the power. The indicator light goes off.

APPLIANCE UPKEEP

  • Set thermostat or the on/off button to 'off' position. Unplug the cord from the mains, then disconnect the cord and let the appliance cool down.
  • Take off the pot and check it is cold, then clean using a non-abrasive sponge, hot water and washing-up liquid.
  • Never use hard or sharp objects which would damage the surface.
  • External housing of appliance: use a sponge moistened with washing-up liquid, never use abrasive products.
