Para obtener información más detallada sobre los locales de recogida debe dirigirse a su Ayuntamiento o a un punto de venta de estos equipamientos.11 English BLENDER SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Please read these instrucons carefully before using the appliance for the rst me and keep them for future reference. FLAMA shall not be liable for any use that is not in accordance with the instrucons. Please check that the supply voltage of your electrical system corresponds to the voltage on the appliance’s rang plate. This appliance may be used by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental, or by persons with lack of experience and knowledge on how to use it, if they are supervised or they have received instrucons concerning the safe use of the appliance and understand the possible risks involved. This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance. This appliance must not be used by children. Keep the appliance and the cord out of the reach of children. Please disconnect the appliance by removing the plug from the power socket aer each use and when cleaning, if it is le unaended, and before assembly, disassembly or cleaning operaons. Cleaning and maintenance must be carried out as indicated in the cleaning and maintenance instrucons. Never place the mixing bowl inside the microwave. Do not touch the moving parts of the appliance. Never put your hand and/or any kitchen utensil inside the mixing bowl. Blades are sharp and can cause damage. Proceed with cauon and avoid direct contact with the cung edge.12 www.ama.pt Pay parcular aenon when handling the blades, during assembly and disassembly operaons, when emptying the mixing bowl, and while cleaning. Always use the appliance with the measuring cup in place. Do not remove the measuring cup or lid before the blades have completely stopped moving. Cauon: do not place hot ingredients in the mixing bowl. Before preparing food, allow the food to cool down for a few minutes. Be very careful when handling hot food as you can burn yourself. The maximum lling capacity of the mixing bole must not be exceeded (use the graduaon marks on the bole as a reference). This appliance was designed to be used for a maximum of 2 minutes. When this limit is exceeded, take a cool-down break before using it again, so as not to overload the motor. Do not use this appliance to mix glunous food or substances, such as jam or marmalade. Do not use the appliance if it is not working properly. If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced at an Authorized Flama Technical Assistance Service in order to avoid a hazard. Any intervenon other than cleaning must be carried out only by authorized FLAMA agents. This product complies with the Low-Voltage and Electromagnec Compability Direcves. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING Unplug the appliance when not in use and before any cleaning and maintenance operaons. Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents. Never immerse the base motor, cable or plug in water or other liquids and do not place in the dishwasher. The blades are very sharp. Handle them with cauon. Wash the blades, boles and lids with water and a lile detergent. You can also mix water with a lile detergent and run the appliance with this mixture for 15 seconds. Then wash the blade holder and bole under running water and let dry before storing. Clean the base motor with a damp cloth and then dry with a dry cloth. OPERATING Do not leave the device unaended when it is in use, so that you can intervene quickly in the event of danger.
DANGER - NEVER ATTACH THE BLADE
HOLDER TO THE BASE MOTOR WITHOUT
PROPERLY THREADING THE BOTTLE INTO
THE BLADE HOLDER. Before rst use Before using the product for the rst me, clean the parts in contact with food as described in the CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE chapter. Use Place the base motor on a stable, clean and dry at surface. Make sure the base motor is disconnected from the power supply. Completely unwind the cable before plugging it into the socket. Place previously cut food in the bole. Note - the temperature of the food must not exceed 50ºC. Screw the blade holder onto the bole. Make sure the blade holder is securely screwed onto the bole before placing it on the base motor. Place the bole on the motor base and turn it clockwise unl it clicks into place in the LOCK posion. The device does not work if the bole with the blade holder is not placed correctly. Connect the device to the mains current. Turn the ON/OFF knob clockwise and keep it turned unl the mixture reaches the desired consistency.14 www.ama.pt Release the ON/OFF buon; the device stops. NOTE - Keep the device in a vercal posion unl the desired result is achieved, without exceeding the maximum operang me (1 minute). Unplug the appliance from the mains. Detach the blade holder and bole from the base motor by turning it counterclockwise to the unlocked posion. Unscrew the blade holder from the bole. Be careful when handling the blade holder, they are sharp and can cause injury. You can conserve the mixture by screwing the cap onto the bole and using the opening for easy access to the contents. ATTENTION – Do not start the appliance with an empty or overlled bole, as this could damage the motor. ATTENTION: The operang me must never exceed 1 minute. TROUBLESHOOTING Problem cause soluon The appliance does not work aer turning the ON/ OFF buon. The appliance is not plugged into the mains. Connect the appliance to the mains. The blade assembly is not correctly connected to the cup. Follow the instrucons in the Use chapter. During operaon, there is a slight burning smell. First uses. It is a normal situaon, which will disappear aer the rst few uses. Base motor is overloaded. Respect the quanes indicated. The device switches o during operaon. Motor overheang. Unplug the appliance from the mains and wait 30 minutes before plugging it in again. Blades do not rotate. Poor appliance assembly. Follow the instrucons in the Use chapter. Pieces too big. Cut the ingredients into smaller pieces. The bole leaks. Poor appliance assembly. Follow the instrucons in the Use chapter.15 English
ANOMALIES AND REPAIR
In case of malfuncon, please take the appliance to an authorized Technical Assistance Service. Do not aempt to disassemble or repair the appliance, as this may be dangerous.
PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT
This symbol indicates the separate collecon of electrical and electronic equipment. The main objecve of the separate collecon of this waste is to reduce the quanty to be disposed of, promote re- use, recycling and other forms of recovery in order to reduce its negave eects on the environment. When it is no longer in use, this appliance must not be disposed of together with other unsorted municipal waste. The user is responsible for delivering it free of charge to the selecve collecon facilies available for that purpose. Pieces of equipment that are no longer in use can also be taken back at points of sale, by purchasing new pieces of equipment that are equivalent and have the same funcons. 1. Keep the proof of purchase (receipt) for this
product carefully. When a repair is made under these condions, the technician will require proof of purchase. This assistance can only be provided once you have proven, with the proof of purchase, that your appliance is within the warranty period.
2. The warranty period for this appliance is dened
by the respecve EU Direcve in force on the date of purchase/delivery.
3. Within the guarantee period, we will repair or
replace, free of charge, any parts which, during the normal use of the appliance, have deteriorated as a result of a proven material or manufacturing defect.
4. This warranty does not cover consumable items,
light bulbs, easily breakable parts made of glass or plasc, or any other defects that do not impair its proper funconing.
5. We accept no liability for damage caused by
incorrect or careless use of the appliance, by its connecon to an electrical current other than that indicated on the appliance’s rang plate, by faulty electrical installaon, or by atmospheric, chemical or electrochemical causes. Other claims or demands for compensaon relang to objects which are not an integral part of the appliance will be denied.
6. The provision of assistance under warranty does not
extend the warranty period. Only within this period will assistance be provided under warranty. The right to assistance is only granted to the rst purchaser of the device and cannot be transferred to a third party.
7. The warranty expires when unauthorized persons
have aempted to repair, modify or replace parts of the appliance.
8. All expenses and risks of transportaon to our
factory or vice versa will always be borne by the buyer. WARRANTY CONDITIONS To benet from the Technical Assistance service during the 36-month warranty period aer the date of purchase, you will need to: Present the Invoice/Proof of Purchase, stang the model and the manufacturing number of the product (whenever possible). Note: Failure to present the aforemenoned documents will be grounds for not providing services under warranty.
