Frequently Asked Questions - PR303IKP PRIMO

The hob does not turn on, what should I do?
Check that the plug is properly inserted and that the power outlet works (try another appliance). Hold down the On/Off key until the indicator lights up.
The keys do not respond, why?
The child lock may be activated: deactivate it by holding the corresponding button for a few seconds. Otherwise, wipe the keys with a dry non-abrasive cloth if droplets cover them.
My pots make a cracking sound, is this normal?
Yes, this noise is due to the material of the pot. As long as it is magnetic and induction-compatible, there is no problem.
The appliance hums during use, is this normal?
Yes, this is the normal preheating of the hob. The noise may stop and start again, this is not a concern.
The fan continues to run after switching off, is this normal?
Yes, the fan cools the appliance after use. Do not unplug the hob until the fan has completely stopped.
The appliance emits a beep during cooking, what does it mean?
This indicates that the pot is not correctly centered on the zone, its diameter is too small, or it is not suitable for induction. Reposition it or use a compatible container.
The hob suddenly turns off, why?
Check if the timer was set (it turns off the hob automatically). Also check the fuses and the power outlet. If nothing works, a technical error is possible.
What does error code E0 mean?
Error code E0 appears when there is no pot on the zone, the pot is not suitable for induction, or it is poorly centered. Place a compatible and well-centered container.
How to clean the ceramic glass hob?
Use a special ceramic glass cleaner and a soft cloth. For stubborn stains, use an inclined scraper being careful not to scratch the surface. Clean after each use on a warm or cold hob.
How to activate and deactivate the child lock?
Press the child lock button to activate it (the indicator lights up). Hold the same button for a few seconds to deactivate it. Once activated, only the On/Off key remains functional.

6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Remove the plug from the wall socket. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents and make sure that no water can penetrate into the appliance. To prevent electrocution, never immerse the appliance, plug or cord in water or any other liquid.
  • To prevent the dirt from sticking too strongly, we recommend that you clean the vitroceramic surface after each use when it is still lukewarm or has just cooled down. With a cleaning agent for vitroceramic glass, you can remove all traces of water and lime as well as all grease splashes.
  • A scraper is ideal for large and stubborn stains. Hold the scraper at an angle and loosen the dirt by rubbing the vitroceramic glass with the knife side. Molten material such as plastic must be scraped away immediately when it is still warm. Be careful not to burn yourself! If the hob has already cooled down, you will need to reheat it. When it has cooled down afterwards, clean it as described above.
  • Wipe off the surface with a damp cloth or use a mild, non-abrasive soap solution.
  • Make sure that the bottom of the cookware does not scrape across the surface of the ceramic field.
  • Make sure that the device was properly cleaned before storing it in a dry place.
