FLAMA shall not be liable for any use that is not in accordance with the instrucons. Please check that the supply voltage of your home electrical system corresponds to the voltage on the appliance’s rang plate. This appliance must be connected to an earthed socket. The appliance is not intended to be operated using an external mer or separate remote control system. This appliance was designed for household, indoor use only. This appliance is intended for households and similar uses, such as: - Sta kitchen areas in stores, workshops and other working environments; - Coages; - Guests of hotels, motels and other residenal environments - Hotel room-type environments. This appliance may be used by children aged 8 and over and persons with physical, sensory or mental disabilies or lack of experience and knowledge if they have received supervision or instrucon concerning the safe use of the appliance and understand the risks involved. Children must not play with the appliance. The cleaning and maintenance of the appliance must not be carried out by children unless they are over 8 years old and supervised. Keep the appliance and the power cord out of the reach of children under the age of 8. Warning - The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high10 www.ama.pt when the appliance is switched on. Please disconnect the appliance from the power supply by removing the plug from the power socket aer each use and when cleaning. Please allow it to cool down before carrying out with any cleaning or storage operaons. Before switching on the appliance, please make sure you place it on a at, stable and horizontal surface. Do not use the appliance if the power cord or the plug are damaged, have them replaced immediately at an Authorized FLAMA Technical Assistance Service. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its aer-sales service or similarly qualied personnel in order to avoid a hazard. The appliance must never be used near ammable or combusble materials. Never leave the appliance unaended. Do not cover the appliance while it is switched on. Do not disassemble the appliance. The appliance must only be used for cooking food. Using it for other purposes may cause irreparable damage. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.

3. Grill plate with non-sck coang
OPERATION Before the rst use Remove all the labels, sckers and tags, except the plate of product characteriscs. Clean the appliance as described in the Cleaning and Maintenance secon. Use CAUTION: Do not use this appliance to cook or defrost frozen food. All foods must be completely thawed before cooking them with this appliance. NOTE - during the rst minutes of operaon (only upon rst use), the appliance may release some smoke and odours, which soon disappear. Completely unwind the power cord. Place the appliance on a at horizontal surface, ensuring that the power cord is not stretched. Use the plate locking device to lock and/or unlock the plates. Lightly brush the surface of the plates with cooking oil. Close the appliance and connect it to the plug. Connect the power cord plug to the power socket. If using an extension, make sure that it is earthed and suitable for 6A. The on/o indicator light should switch on, indicang that the appliance is connected to the power socket and heang up.
WARNING: The non-sck plates and
surfaces of the appliance may heat up during its operaon. To prevent risk of burning, only touch the appliance using the handle. Allow the non-sck plates to preheat; the on/o indicator light switches o. Use the handle to raise the upper plate. Place the food on the lower plate, if necessary, using a heat resistant wooden or plasc utensil. CAUTION: Do not use metal utensils on the non-sck plates, as they could damage the non-sck coang irreparably. Lower the upper plate using the handle. While the appliance is being used, the on/o indicator light switches o and on, which is normal, indicang that the cooking temperature is maintained. To release the non-sck plates, slide the locking buon. To reinsert the plates, slot the plates into the rear xtures and press next to the locking buons unl the plates are xed.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Turn o the appliance by removing the power cord plug from the power socket and allow it to cool. When it is completely cold: Remove the plates and wash them by hand with hot water and a non-abrasive detergent. Do not use abrasive utensils or sponges, so as not to damage the non-sck coang. If necessary, leave the plates to soak for a few hours. Wash and clean with a so and dry cloth. Do not place the plates in the washing-up machine.12 www.ama.pt Clean the exterior parts of the appliance with a damp cloth and dry with a so cloth. Aer clean, close the appliance, locking the handle lock. The appliance can be stored vercally. DANGER - Never immerse the appliance or part of it in water or any other liquid.
ANOMALIES AND REPAIR
In case of malfuncon, please take the appliance to an authorized Technical Assistance Service. Do not aempt to disassemble or repair the appliance, as this may be dangerous.
PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT
This symbol indicates the separate collecon of electrical and electronic equipment. The main objecve of the separate collecon of this waste is to reduce the quanty to be disposed of, promote re- use, recycling and other forms of recovery in order to reduce its negave eects on the environment. When it is no longer in use, this appliance must not be disposed of together with other unsorted municipal waste. 1. Keep the proof of purchase (receipt) for this
product carefully. When a repair is made under these condions, the technician will require proof of purchase. This assistance can only be provided once you have proven, with the proof of purchase, that your appliance is within the warranty period.
2. The warranty period for this appliance is dened
by the respecve EU Direcve in force on the date of purchase/delivery.
3. Within the guarantee period, we will repair or
replace, free of charge, any parts which, during the normal use of the appliance, have deteriorated as a result of a proven material or manufacturing defect.
4. This warranty does not cover consumable items,
light bulbs, easily breakable parts made of glass or plasc, or any other defects that do not impair its proper funconing.
5. We accept no liability for damage caused by
incorrect or careless use of the appliance, by its connecon to an electrical current other than that indicated on the appliance’s rang plate, by faulty electrical installaon, or by atmospheric, chemical or electrochemical causes. Other claims or demands for compensaon relang to objects which are not an integral part of the appliance will be denied.
6. The provision of assistance under warranty does not
extend the warranty period. Only within this period will assistance be provided under warranty. The right to assistance is only granted to the rst purchaser of the device and cannot be transferred to a third party.
7. The warranty expires when unauthorized persons
have aempted to repair, modify or replace parts of the appliance.
8. All expenses and risks of transportaon to our
factory or vice versa will always be borne by the buyer.
