Instruction Manual Thank you for choosing our product. We hope you will enjoy using the appliance. Symbols in these Instructions for Use Important information for your safety is specially marked. It is essential to comply with these instructions in order to avoid accidents and prevent damage to the appliance:

• The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged pur- pose. This appliance is not t for commercial use

• The power adapter is only suitable for use in dry rooms.

• Check if the output current, voltage and the polarity of the power adapter match the information on the connected appliance!

• Do not touch the connected power adapter with wet hands!

• Switch off the appliance if not in use, when attaching accessories, during cleaning and when malfunctioning.

• For cleaning disconnect the appliance from the power adapter, if necessary.

• Do not use a damaged power adapter.

• Do not repair the appliance yourself, but visit an authorized specialist.

• The appliance and the mains lead have to be checked regularly for signs of dam- age. If damage is found the appliance must not be used.

• For hygiene reasons, do not exchange this appliance with other people.

• Use only original spare parts.

• In order to ensure your children’s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.

• Do not charge the appliance in the vicinity of bathtubs, sinks, or other vessels con- taining water. Charge the appliance in a cool and dry location.

• The appliance is intended for use with safety extra-low voltage. Connect only to a power supply according to the specica- tions on the rating label.

• If the connection cable of this appliance has been damaged, it must be replaced with a special connection cable available from the manufacturer or its customer service.

• Do not replace any parts. Do not perform any modications. Risk of electric shock!

• The appliance is operated via charged battery.

• Mere mains operation is not possible.PC-LBS3002_IM 12.09.17

On / Off Switch Use the lock to prevent the appliance from being accidentally switched on.

• Press the latch and push the switch in order to turn the appliance on. Charging the Battery

• Switch off the appliance. “ I ” can be seen on the switch.

• Connect the power supply with the connection socket on the appliance.

• Plug the power adapter into wall outlet.

• The indicator light remains red during the charging process. NOTE: The charge indicator does not indicate the state of charge of the rechargeable battery.

• Charge the appliance before rst use for 10 hours.

• After initial use, do not charge the battery for longer than 9 hours at one time. CAUTION: After 9 hours always disconnect from mains power supply. NOTE regarding the lifetime of rechargeable battery: You can extent the lifetime of the rechargeable battery by following these steps:

• Only charge after the battery is nearly exhausted.

• Do not charge for more than 9 hours.

• Charge the appliance at temperatures between 0 °C and + 40 °C. Attachments and Their Function Epilator (11) Little hairs will be removed thoroughly and gently everywhere on the body. • Thin hairs can grow into the skin. Body peeling removes the top layer of the skin so that ne hairs can reach the surface.

• Do you have any doubts concerning whether you should use this appliance? In the following cases you should consult your doctor: if you suffer from eczema, cuts, inamed skin reactions such as folliculitis (purulent hair follicles) and varicose veins; in the area of moles, if you have an impaired immune system of the skin (as can occur with diabetes), during pregnancy, if you have Raynaud‘s syndrome, if you are a haemophiliac or have an impaired immune system. • Always apply the roller gently.

• You can treat individual areas again and again.

• Apply the roller to the affected areas from different directions.

• Never use the appliance on badly cracked skin or open wounds!

• Do not use on birthmarks or moles.

• If you suffer from illnesses such as diabetes, haemophilia or immune deciency, rst consult your doctor.

• If the callus is very tough to start with, a more even result will be achieved by repeated short applications. Therefore, gently use the appliance each day.

• To prevent the skin from cracking, use a skin cream after treatment.

• After about 7 to 10 days you should achieve good results. Normally, 1 to 2 appli- cations per week should sufce thereafter. Lady Shaver (3) Removes hairs everywhere on the body. The shaving head exactly adapts to all parts of the body. Different than in the epilator mode, the hairs are not removed at the roots. Additionally, the lady shaver prevents shaving spots.

• Shave in the armpit area and in the bikini area: The skin in this area is sensi- tive. Always tighten the skin with the other hand, to avoid injury.

• Pay attention to skin irregularities such as stem warts. These should not be touched with the long-hair cutter.

• Avoid the use of skin-irritating substances, such as alcohol-based deodorants, immediately after hair removal.PC-LBS3002_IM 12.09.17

• In order to change an attachment, switch off the appliance. “ I ” appears on the switch. Press the release button on the front of the appliance and pull the attach- ment off upwards. Place the desired attachment on the drive mechanism until it snaps on.

2. Turn off the appliance after use.

• Turn off the appliance and disconnect the power adapter from the mains supply when cleaning.

• Do not immerse the appliance and the power adapter into the water. CAUTION:

• The shaving foil of the lady shaver may not be cleaned with the brush.

• Always switch off the appliance before cleaning. Attachments Clean the attachments in a mild soap solution. Rinse them with water afterwards. Let the attachments dry completely before you put them back on.PC-LBS3002_IM 12.09.17

• To clean it more easily, you can remove the shaving head of the lady shaver. To remove the hairs, you can use the brush.

• Regularly apply 1 - 2 drops of acid-free oil to the shaving head and the long-hair cutter. Housing You may wipe the housing of the appliance with a slightly damp cloth. Storage

• The mains cable should only be wound up loosely. Never tie the cable tightly round the appliance, as over time this may result in the cable breaking. Check the mains cable regularly for damage.

• We recommend that the appliance is kept in its original packaging if you do not intend to use it for long periods.

Disposal Accumulator / Battery Disposal The appliance contains a rechargeable battery. Used batteries / accumu- lators (rechargeable batteries) do not belong in domestic waste. The battery must be removed before the product will be recycled. Contact qualied personnel. Information, where batteries / accumulators are to be disposed of can be obtained from your local or municipal authorities. Meaning of the “Dustbin” Symbol Protect our environment: do not dispose of electrical equipment in the domestic waste. Please return any electrical equipment that you will no longer use to the collection points provided for their disposal. This helps avoid the potential effects of incorrect disposal on the envi- ronment and human health.
