INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE USE
This appliance should only be used for domestic cleaning, as described in this user guide. Please ensure that this guide is fully understood before operating the appliance.
Do not leave the appliance plugged in. Always switch off and remove the plug from the socket after use, or before cleaning the appliance or any maintenance task.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
If the power cord is damaged stop using the appliance immediately. To avoid a safety hazard, an authorised HOOVER service engineer must replace the power cord.
Keep hands, feet, loose clothing and hair away from rotating brushes.
Use only attachments, consumables or spares recommended or supplied by HOOVER.
Static electricity: Some carpets can cause a small build up of static electricity. Any static discharge is not hazardous to health.
Do not use your appliance out of doors or on any wet surface or for wet pick up.
Do not pick up hard or sharp objects, matches, hot ashes, cigarette ends or other similar items.
Do not spray with or pick up flammable liquids, cleaning fluids, aerosols or their vapours.
Do not run over the power cord when using your appliance or remove the plug by pulling on the power cord.
Do not continue to use your appliance if it appears faulty.

ASSEMBLING YOUR CLEANER
Remove all components from the packaging.
- Connect the hose to the cleaner main body, ensuring it clips and locks into position. To release: simply press the button on the hose end and pull. [1]
- Connect the hose handle to the upper end of the extension tube [2], or accessories if required.
- Connect the lower end of the extension tube to the Carpet & Floor nozzle** [3] or accessories if required.
USING YOUR CLEANER
- Extract power cord and plug it into the power supply. Do not pull the cord beyond the red marker. [4]
- Adjust the telescopic tube to the desired height by moving the telescopic tube adjuster up and raise or lower the handle to the most comfortable cleaning position. [5]

- Carpet and Floor Nozzle** - Press the floor type selector on the nozzle [6] to select the ideal cleaning mode for the floor type.
Hard Floor - Brushes are lowered to protect the floor.
Carpet - Brushes are raised for deeper cleaning.
Carpet & Floor Nozzle**: [7]
- Hard floors Cleaning: Press the pedal on the nozzle on Hard Floor mode and adjust the slider on the nozzle on ALL FLOORS. In this position brushes, wheels and wiper blade are lowered to protect hard floors. [7a]
- Standard Carpet & Rugs Cleaning: Press the pedal on the nozzle on Carpet mode and adjust the slider on the nozzle on ALL FLOORS. In this position brushes and wiper blade are raised while wheels are lowered to allow a perfect ease of movement on such surfaces. [7b]
- Deep Carpet Cleaning: Press the pedal on the nozzle on Carpet mode and adjust the slider on the nozzle on DEEP CARPET CLEANING. In this position brushes, wheels and wiper blade are raised for a deeper cleaning of your carpet. [7c]
WARNING: It is recommended to avoid potential scratching of wooden floors that the pedal is not set on hard floor mode and the slider on deep carpet cleaning.
- Switch the cleaner on by pressing the on/off Pedal on the cleaner main body. [8]
- Adjust the suction regulator on the handle to the desired level. [9]
- Switch off at the end of use by pressing the on/off pedal. Unplug and press the cord reel pedal to wind the power cord back into the cleaner. [10]
PARKING AND STORAGE SECTION
The tube and the nozzle can be parked on the back of the cleaner for storage or temporary storage while in use. [11]
ACCESSORIES AND NOZZLES
To obtain the best performance and efficiency it is recommended that the correct nozzles are used for the main cleaning operations. These nozzles are indicated in the diagrams by the letters GP, HF or CA.
A nozzle type GP can be used to clean both carpet and hard floor.
A nozzle type HF is suitable for use only on hard floor.
A nozzle of type CA is suitable for use only on carpet.
The other nozzles are accessories for specialist cleaning tasks and are recommended for occasional use only.
All accessories can be fitted to the end of the hose handle or to the end of the telescopic tube.

IMPORTANT: Do not use the Mini Turbo nozzles on rugs with long fringes, animal hides and carpet pile deeper than 15 mm. Do not keep the nozzle stationary while the brush is rotating.
CLEANER MAINTENANCE
Emptying the Dust Container
When the dust reaches the max level indicator in the container, empty the dust container.
IMPORTANT: To maintain optimum performance, do not allow the dust to sit higher than the max level.
- Turn off the cleaner by pressing the on/off pedal and unplug the power cable. [8]
- Press the dust container release button and remove the dust container assembly from the cleaner. [12]
- Hold the dust container with one hand and press the dust container empty button to empty the dust. [13]
- Close the dust container flap and refit it to the main body.
Cleaning the washable filters
The cleaner is fitted with a pre-motor filter and an exhaust filter. To maintain optimum cleaning performance, regularly remove the filters and tap them against the side of the dust container to release dust. The filters should be washed every 5 cassette empties or when the filters have excessive dust level.
IMPORTANT: All bagless cleaners require regular filter cleaning. Failure to clean your filters may result in air blockage, overheating and product failure. This may invalidate your guarantee.
IMPORTANT: Regularly check and maintain the filters.
IMPORTANT: Always ensure the filters are fully dry before use.
To access the pre-motor filter:
- Remove the dust container from the cleaner by pressing the dust container release button.[12]
- Hold the dust container with one hand and remove the dust container cover by rotating anti-clockwise with the other hand. [14]
- Remove the pre-motor filter assembly from dust container assembly. [15]
- Gently tap and wash the pre-motor filter. Do not use hot water or detergents. Remove excess water from the filter and leave to dry fully before re-using. [20,21]
- Reassemble the pre-motor filter assembly once fully dry and refit to the cleaner.
To access the exhaust filter:
- Unclip the exhaust filter cover from the rear of the cleaner main body. [18]
- Remove the exhaust filter from the rear of the cleaner.[19]
- Gently tap and wash the filter using warm water. Do not use hot water or detergents. Remove excess water from the filter and leave to dry fully before re-using. [20,21]
- Refit the exhaust filter to the rear of the cleaner once fully dry and refit the exhaust filter cover.
IMPORTANT: Do not use the product without the filter pack fitted.
Cleaning the dust container / separation unit
This cleaner uses a separation system unique to Hoover. If necessary, the separation unit can be disassembled from the dust container and cleaned.
- Press the dust container release button and remove the dust container assembly from the cleaner.[12]
- Hold the dust container with one hand and remove the dust container cover by rotating anti-clockwise with the other hand. [14]
- Remove pre-motor filter assembly from the dust container assembly. And then remove the multi-cyclone separation unit from the dust container by pulling it. [15,16]
- If necessary, use a cloth to remove excessive dust from the multi-cyclone separation unit surface. [17]
- If necessary rinse the dust container with lukewarm water. Wash internal surfaces of the dust container with water only. DO NOT use soap detergents to wash the internals of the dust container.
- Reassemble the internal and the pre-motor filter to the dust container.
- Reassemble the dust container cover to the dust container. Refit the dust container to the cleaner main body.
Removing a blockage
- Check if the dust container is full. If so refer to 'Emptying the dust container'.
- If the dust container is empty but suction is still low:
A. Do the filters need cleaning? If so refer to 'Cleaning the washable filters'. B. Check if there is any other blockage in the system - Use a rod or pole to remove any blockage from the extension tube or flexible hose. C. Check if pre-motor filter is fitted. D. Check if the separation unit needs to be cleaned. Refer to 'Cleaning the separation unit'.

ASSEMBLING THE VACUUM CLEANER
Check all components of the packaging.
1. Attach the handle to the main body of the vacuum cleaner, making sure it clicks into place. To release: simply press the button on the handle and pull it out. [1] 2. Attach the upper end of the hose to the handle and the lower end to the accessories, if necessary. 3. Attach the lower end of the hose to the brush for carpets and hard floors **[3] and accessories, if necessary.
USING THE VACUUM CLEANER
- Pull out the power cord and plug it into the socket. Do not pull the cord beyond the red mark. [4]
- Adjust the telescopic tube to the desired height by pressing the regulator and sliding the tube up or down until it clicks into the most comfortable position. [5]
- Brush for carpets and hard floors** - Press the selector for floor type [6]. Choose the appropriate setting for the floor type.
Hard floors - Use the brush for hard floors. Carpets - Use the brush for carpets for better cleaning.
Brush for carpets and hard floors**: [7]
- Cleaning hard floors: Press the pedal of the brush in the mode for hard floors and adjust the brush height to all floor types. In this mode, the bristles are lowered to prevent hard floors from being scratched. [7a]
- Cleaning standard carpets and rugs: Press the pedal of the brush in the mode for carpets and adjust the brush height to all floor types. In this mode, the bristles are raised, while the wheels are lowered, to allow easy movement on such surfaces. [7b]
Deep cleaning: The vacuum cleaner is not intended for cleaning the filter cover time for cleaning the filter of the vacuum cleaner. In this mode, the wheels and brush are suitable for deeper cleaning of the vacuum cleaner.
I REGULATOR: I check that there is no potential damage to the filter cover, when the device is not placed in mode for hard floor cleaning and the vacuum cleaner is deep cleaning.
- Turn on the vacuum cleaner, as you press the button ON/OFF on the body. [8] Adjust the regulator for suction on the floor to the desired level. [9]
- Turn on, as you turn on, as you press the button ON/OFF. Turn off from the contact and press the button on the handle for cable, to wind the cable automatically. [10]
PARKING AND STORAGE
The vacuum cleaner can be parked on the back of the vacuum cleaner for storage or temporary parking during use. [11]
ACCESSORIES
For best work and efficiency, it is recommended to use the correct accessories for the main cleaning modes. These accessories are used and recommended for hard floors or carpets. The accessory can be used for cleaning both on the carpet and on hard floors. The accessory is not suitable for use only on hard floors. The accessory is not suitable for use only on carpets.
The accessories are suitable for special tasks for cleaning and are recommended only for use when necessary.
All accessories should be placed at the end of the handle or at the end of the telescopic tube.

MAINTENANCE
Emptying the dust container
When the appliance is switched on and the suction power is at maximum, press the release button.
IMPORTANT: For optimal performance, empty the dust container after each use or when the dust level reaches the MAX mark.
1. Press the release button. [8] 2. Press the button to release the dust container and remove it from the vacuum cleaner. [12] 3. Hold the dust container over a trash bin and press the release button to empty it. [13] Then insert the dust container back into the main body of the vacuum cleaner.
Cleaning the filter
The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a washable filter.
* Only for models with a HEPA filter. **Only for models with a HEPA filter.
To maintain optimal cleaning performance, regularly clean the filter and the dust container. To release the dust, press the release button. The filter should be cleaned after every 5 uses or when the dust level is high. IMPORTANT: All vacuum cleaners without a dust bag require regular cleaning of the filter. Failure to clean the filter may lead to reduced suction power, overheating, and damage to the motor. This may void the warranty.
IMPORTANT: Regularly check and maintain the filters.
IMPORTANT: Make sure the filters are completely dry before reinstalling them.
To access the motor filter:
- Remove the dust compartment by pressing the release button for the dust compartment. [12]
- Hold the dust compartment with one hand and pull the filter holder out of the dust compartment, while turning it counterclockwise with the other hand. [14]
- Remove the motor filter from the dust compartment. [15]
- Carefully inspect and clean the motor filter. Do not use hot water or cleaning agents. Rinse the filter under cold running water and let it dry completely before using it again. [20,21]
- Place the dry filter back into the motor compartment, after it has dried completely. [10] Place the dust compartment back onto the vacuum cleaner.
To access the exhaust filter:
- Open the cover of the exhaust filter on the back side of the main body of the vacuum cleaner. [18]
- Remove the exhaust filter from the back side of the vacuum cleaner. [19]
- Carefully inspect and clean the filter with cold water. Do not use hot water or cleaning agents. Rinse the filter under cold running water and let it dry completely before using it again. [20,21]
- Place the exhaust filter back into the back side of the vacuum cleaner, after it has dried completely. Then close the cover of the exhaust filter. IMPORTANT: Do not use the appliance without the filter installed.
Removing the dust compartment / separator block
This vacuum cleaner uses a separator system, designed by Hoover. If the separator block needs cleaning,
it can be removed from the dust compartment and cleaned. 1. Press the release button for the dust compartment and remove it from the vacuum cleaner. [12] 2. Hold the dust compartment with one hand and pull the filter holder out of the dust compartment, turning it counterclockwise with the other hand. [14] 3. Remove the motor filter from the dust compartment. Then remove the separator block from the dust compartment by pulling it out. [15,16] 4. [Unintelligible OCR text] [17]. 5. If necessary, rinse the dust container with lukewarm water, and clean the inner surfaces of the dust compartment with water. Do not use cleaning agents to clean the interior or the dust compartment.
- Insert the exhaust filter and the motor filter into the dust compartment.
Removing a blockage

- If the dust container is empty but suction is still low:

CLEARING BLOCKAGES
- Check the account settings. If so, see "Account Settings".
2. If the dust container is empty but suction is still weak: A. Do the filters need cleaning? If so, refer to 'Cleaning the washable filters'.
B. Check for any other blockage in the system - Use a rod to remove any blockage from the extension tube or flexible hose. C. Check if the pre-motor filter is fitted.
D. Check if the separation unit needs cleaning. Refer to 'Cleaning the separation unit'.
CONSUMER SERVICE
In case of a malfunction, refer to the consumer service list for inspection, and contact your local Hoover service.
- Is the vacuum cleaner not working? Check with another electrical device. - Is the dust container full? If so, refer to 'Emptying the vacuum cleaner'. - Is the filter or the exhaust filter blocked? If so, refer to 'Clearing blockages from the system'.
- Is the vacuum cleaner overheating? If so, it may need to be cleaned for optimal performance.

Remove all components from the packaging.
1. Assemble the vacuum cleaner. To do this, insert the hose into the inlet and push it until it clicks into place. [1] 2. Attach the telescopic tube to the hose. 3. Connect the floor nozzle to the telescopic tube, or attach the accessory if necessary.
- Before connecting the power cord to the outlet, make sure that the switch is in the off position [4].
- Install the telescopic tube at the required height, moving the telescopic tube regulator upward, raise or lower the handle to the desired position [5].

3. Nozzle adjustment: To achieve the ideal cleaning result, adjust the nozzle height [6].
Hard floors: For cleaning hard floors, use the brush with the bristles extended.
Nozzle for carpets and rugs: [7]
- Cleaning hard floors: Set the switch to the hard floor cleaning position on the nozzle. The brush, wheels, and scraper are absent for cleaning hard floors. [7a]
- Standard cleaning of carpets and rugs: Set the switch to the standard carpet cleaning position. The brush, wheels, and scraper are absent for ideal movement on the surface. [7b]
- Deep carpet cleaning: Set the switch to the deep carpet cleaning position (DEEP CARPET CLEANING). In this position, the brush, wheels, and scraper are used for deep cleaning of carpets. [7c]
ATTENTION: To avoid damaging wooden floors, we do not recommend setting the switch to the hard floor cleaning position; use the standard or deep carpet cleaning mode.
- Remove the dust container, empty it, and clean the filter. [8] 5. Set the suction power regulator, located on the handle, to the required level. [9] 6. To turn off the vacuum cleaner, press the on/off button. Unplug the power cord from the outlet and press the cord rewind button to retract the cord. [10]
STORAGE AND CARE
The tube and nozzle can be cleaned with a soft cloth or brush. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Store the vacuum cleaner in a dry place.
The vacuum cleaner is designed for dry cleaning only. The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a HEPA filter, HF and CA. The vacuum cleaner type GP can be used for cleaning carpets, as well as for cleaning hard floors.
The HF type nozzle is intended only for hard floor coverings. The CA type nozzle is intended only for carpet coverings. For cleaning upholstered furniture, it is recommended to use the appropriate attachments. All attachments can be installed on the handle tube or on the telescopic tube. The 2-in-1 nozzle combines several functions in one nozzle: [V] Floor nozzle - for cleaning carpets, frames, computer keyboards, and other hard surfaces. This nozzle is designed for cleaning corners and hard-to-reach places. The upholstery nozzle* - for cleaning upholstered furniture. [Y] Turbo brush* - a brush for cleaning stairs or deep cleaning of textile surfaces and other hard-to-reach places. Especially suitable for cleaning stairs.
Turbo brush for cleaning upholstery - use the turbo brush for cleaning sofas or upholstered furniture, as well as for cleaning car interiors and other hard-to-reach places. Especially suitable for cleaning upholstery. [X] WARNING! Do not use the turbo brush on carpets and rugs with a pile height of more than 15 mm, and on animal fur. It is forbidden to hold the brush in the upper position while it is operating.
TECHNICAL MAINTENANCE OF THE VACUUM CLEANER
Cleaning the dust container
When the dust container is full, the indicator will indicate that the dust container needs to be emptied.
WARNING! DO NOT OPERATE THE VACUUM CLEANER WITH THE DUST CONTAINER FULL ABOVE THE MAXIMUM LEVEL.
- Remove the dust container using the release button and remove the cable from the socket. [8]
- Press the dust container release button and remove the dust container [12]
- Empty the dust container by hand, then press the dust container release button to release it. [13] 4. Close the dust container lid and reinstall the base of the housing.
Cleaning the filters
The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a pre-motor filter and an exhaust filter. To maintain optimal performance, clean the filters regularly by tapping them against the edge of a waste bin. The filters should be cleaned when the dust container is emptied or when the filters are visibly dirty.
WARNING! The filters are not washable. Do not wash them with water, as this may damage the motor and the vacuum cleaner. This may void the warranty.
WARNING! Regularly check the filters for damage.
IMPORTANT: Before using the filter, dry it thoroughly.
To remove the pre-filter, follow these steps:
1. Remove the pre-filter from the vacuum cleaner. [12]
2. Hold the pre-filter with one hand, with the other hand remove it from the housing, turning it counterclockwise. [14]
- Remove the pre-filter from the vacuum cleaner. [15]
4. Carefully shake out and rinse. Washing with hot water or detergents is prohibited. Pour clean water through the filter and leave it to dry before reuse. [20,21]
- Dry the filter thoroughly, place it back into the vacuum cleaner, and close the lid.
To install the filter, follow these steps:
- Open the filter cover on the back of the main body of the vacuum cleaner. [18] 2. Remove the filter from the vacuum cleaner. [19] 3. Carefully shake out and rinse the filter with clean water. Do not use detergents or cleaning agents. Pour clean water through the filter and leave it to dry before reuse. [20,21] 4. Dry thoroughly, place the filter back into the vacuum cleaner, and close the cover. IMPORTANT: Using the vacuum cleaner without the filter installed is prohibited!

Cleaning the pre-filter/filter
The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a washable filter. If necessary, remove it from the vacuum cleaner and clean it.
- Press the pre-filter release button and remove it from the vacuum cleaner. [12]
- Remove the pump from the base, holding it by the housing, and turn it counterclockwise. [14]
- Remove the pre-filter (if present) from the pump and remove the pump from the multi-stage filtration system. [15,16]
- To ensure the seal fits tightly into the housing, press it onto the surface of the multi-stage filtration system. [17] 5. If necessary, rinse the pump with clean water. Rinse the external surfaces of the pump with clean water. Do not use abrasive cleaners for cleaning the internal parts of the pump. 6. Install the filter cartridge into the housing and the pre-filter.
- Install the pump cover. Install the pump into the pump housing.
Replacing the filter cartridge
- Before filling the pump, check that the filter cartridge is installed correctly. See "Pump Installation".
- A. Do you need to replace the filter? If so, see "Replacing the Filter Cartridge" (which is described). B. Check the filter cartridge for contamination and clean it if necessary. Use a soft brush or cloth. C. Check that the pre-filter is installed correctly. D. Check if the filter cartridge needs to be replaced. See "Replacing the Filter Cartridge".

If you encounter any difficulties during pump operation, try to identify the possible causes using the manual before contacting the service center.
Is the pump not turning on? Check the power supply with a voltage tester. - Is the pump not primed? See "Pump Maintenance". - Is the filter clogged? See "Pump Maintenance". - Is the impeller or shaft clogged? See "Replacing the Impeller in the System". If the pump still does not work, contact the service center.
