How to install the Bauknecht WAE 85852 washing machine?

After removing the packaging and checking for damage, remove the transport bolts. Place the appliance on a flat, stable floor, adjust the feet to make it level. Connect the cold water inlet hose (pressure 100-1000 kPa) to the 3/4 inch tap. Connect the drain hose to the siphon or the edge of a sink. Plug the appliance into an earthed power socket.

How to remove the transport bolts?

The transport bolts are located at the back of the machine. They must be removed before first use to avoid damage. Follow the instructions in the manual to unscrew and remove them completely. Keep them for future transport.

Which detergent to use and how to dose?

Use a detergent suitable for the fabric type, color, and temperature. Follow the dosages indicated on the packaging according to the load and water hardness. For wool, use a special detergent. Check that the tap is fully open and the pressure is sufficient. Ensure the inlet hose is not bent or frozen. Clean the water inlet connection filters. If the 'Tap closed' indicator lights up or the display shows 'H' and 'F', the problem is detected. If the safety hose has a red indicator, replace it.

How to activate child safety?

The child safety is located inside the porthole. Turn the plastic screw using the rounded corner of the colored accessory or a coin. In vertical position, the porthole cannot be closed. In horizontal position, the porthole can be closed normally.

How to perform the first wash cycle?

Open the tap, close the porthole. Pour about 30 ml of detergent into the main compartment (II). Select a short cycle and start it. This cycle removes the manufacturer's test water.

How to maintain the detergent drawer?

Press the release lever located in the prewash compartment and remove the drawer. Remove the accessories (softener siphon and liquid accessory). Wash all parts under running water. Reassemble and reinsert the drawer into the machine.

What to do if the appliance vibrates during spin?
