Before using your freezer
- When using your freezer for the first time, or after transportation, keep it in an upright position for at least 3 hours before plugging into the mains. This allows efficient operation and prevents damage to the compressor.

- Your freezer may have a smell when it is operated for the first time. This is normal and the smell will fade away when your freezer starts to cool.
PART - 2. THE VARIOUS FUNCTION AND POSSIBILITIES
Information on No-Frost technology
No-frost freezers differ from other static freezers in their operating principle.
In normal freezers, the humidity entering the freezer due to opening the door and the humidity inherent in the food causes freezing in the freezer compartment. To defrost the frost and ice in the freezer compartment, you are periodically required to turn off the freezer, place the food that needs to be kept frozen in a separately cooled container and remove the ice gathered in the freezer compartment.
The situation is completely different in no-frost freezers. Dry and cold air is blown into the freezer compartment homogeneously and evenly from several points via a blower fan. Cold air dispersed homogeneously and evenly between the shelves cools all of your food equally and uniformly, thus preventing humidity and freezing.
Therefore your no-frost freezer allows you ease of use, in addition to its huge capacity and stylish appearance.

Warnings about temperature adjustments
- It is not recommended that you operate your freezer in environments colder than 10°C in terms of its efficiency.
- Do not start another adjustment while you are already making an adjustment.
- Temperature adjustments should be made according to the frequency of door openings, the quantity of food kept inside the freezer and the ambient temperature in the location of your freezer.
- In order to allow your freezer to reach the operating temperature after being connected to mains, do not open the door frequently or place large quantities of food in the freezer. Please note that, depending on the ambient temperature, it may take 24 hours for your freezer to reach the operating temperature.
- A 5 minute delay function is applied to prevent damage to the compressor of your freezer when connecting or disconnecting to mains, or when an energy breakdown occurs. Your freezer will begin to operate normally after 5 minutes.
- Your appliance is designed to operate in the ambient temperature (T/SN = 10°C - 43°C) intervals stated in the standards, according to the climate class displayed on the information label. We do not recommend operating your appliance out of the stated temperature limits in terms of cooling effectiveness.
| Climate Class | Ambient Temperature (°C) |
| T Between 16 and 43 (°C) | |
| ST Between 16 and 38 (°C) | |
| N Between 16 and 32 (°C) | |
| SN Between 10 and 32 (°C) | |
| T/SN Between 10 and 43 (°C) | |
Important installation instructions
This appliance is designed to work in difficult climate conditions (up to 43 degrees C or 110 degrees F) and is powered with 'Freezer Shield' technology which ensures that the frozen food in the freezer will not defrost even if the ambient temperature falls as low as -15 °C. So you may then install your appliance in an unheated room without having to worry about frozen food in the freezer being spoilt. When the ambient temperature returns to normal, you may continue using the appliance as usual.

Visual and text descriptions in the accessories section may vary according to the model of your appliance.
ARRANGING FOOD IN THE APPLIANCE
- The freezer is used for storing frozen food, freezing fresh food, and making ice cubes.
- For freezing fresh food, wrap and seal fresh food properly; the packaging should be air tight and shouldn't leak. Special freezer bags, aluminum foil polythene bags, and plastic containers are ideal.
- Do not store fresh food next to frozen food as it can thaw the frozen food.
- Before freezing fresh food, divide it into portions that can be consumed in one sitting.
- Consume thawed frozen food within a short period of time after defrosting.
- Never place warm food in the freezer compartment as it will thaw the frozen food.
- Always follow the manufacturer's instructions on food packaging when storing frozen food. If no information is provided, food should not be stored for more than 3 months from the date of purchase.
- When purchasing frozen food, make sure that it has been stored under appropriate conditions and that the packaging is not damaged.
- Frozen food should be transported in appropriate containers and placed in the freezer as soon as possible.
- Do not purchase frozen food if the packaging shows signs of humidity and abnormal swelling. It is probable that it has been stored at an unsuitable temperature and that the contents have deteriorated.
- The storage life of frozen food depends on the room temperature, the thermostat setting, how often the door is opened, the type of food, and the length of time required to transport the product from the shop to your home. Always follow the instructions printed on the packaging and never exceed the maximum storage life indicated.
- The maximum amount of fresh food (in kg) that can be frozen in 24 hours is indicated on the appliance label.
- Use the fast freezing shelf to freeze home cooking (and any other food which needs to be frozen quickly) more quickly because of the freezing shelf's greater freezing power. Fast freezing shelf is the bottom drawer of the freezer compartment.
If you would use maximum freezing capacity of your freezer:
- While freezing fresh foods, the maximum amount of fresh food (in kg) that can be frozen in 24 hours is indicated on the appliance label.
- For optimum appliance performance to reach maximum freezing capacity, activate Super Freeze (SF) mode 24 hours before placing fresh food into the freezer.
- After placing fresh food into the freezer, 24 hours is generally sufficient for freezing. "Super Freeze" mode will be deactivated automatically in 2-3 days to save energy.
If you would freeze a small amount (up to 3 kg) in your freezer:
- Place your food without touching already frozen food and activate "Fast Freezing" mode. You can put your food next to other frozen food after it is completely frozen (after minimum 24 hours).
- Do not re-freeze frozen food after it has thawed. This may cause health issues, such as food poisoning.
- Allow hot food to completely cool down before placing it in the freezer.
- When buying frozen food ensure that these have been frozen at suitable temperatures and that the packing is intact.
NOTE: If you attempt to open the freezer door immediately after closing it, you will find that it will not open easily. This is normal. Once equilibrium has been reached, the door will open easily.
Important note:
- Never refreeze thawed frozen food.
- The taste of some spices found in cooked dishes (anise, basilica, watercress, vinegar, assorted spices, ginger, garlic, onion, mustard, thyme, marjoram, black pepper, etc.) changes and they assume a strong taste when they are stored for a long period of time. Therefore, add small amounts of spices to food to be frozen, or the desired spice should be added after the food has thawed.
- The storage time of food is dependent on the type of oil used. Suitable oils are margarine, calf fat, olive oil and butter. Unsuitable oils are peanut oil and pig fat.
- Food in liquid form should be frozen in plastic cups and other food should be frozen in plastic folios or bags.

Your freezer is not operating
Check if:
There is power - The plug is correctly placed in the socket - The plug fuse or the mains fuse has blown - The socket is faulty. Examine this by plugging your freezer into a working socket.
What to do if your appliance performs poorly;
Check that;
- You have not overloaded the appliance, The freezer temperature set to -16, The doors are closed perfectly,
- There is no dust on the condenser,
- There is enough place at the rear and side walls.
Your freezer is operating noisily
Normal noises
Cracking (ice cracking) noise occurs:
During automatic defrosting - When the appliance is cooled or warmed (due to expansion of appliance material).
Short cracking noise occurs: When the thermostat switches the compressor on/off.
Motor noise: Indicates the compressor is operating normally. The compressor may cause more noise for a short time when it is first activated.
Bubbling noise and splash occurs: Due to the flow of the refrigerant in the tubes of the system.
Water flowing noise occurs: Due to water flowing to the evaporation container. This noise is normal during defrosting.
Air blowing noise occurs: In No-Frost freezers during normal operation of the system due to the circulation of air.
The edges of the freezer in contact with the door joint are warm
Especially during summer (warm seasons), the surfaces in contact with the door joint may become warmer during the operation of the compressor; this is normal.
The door does not open or close properly
Check if:
- There is food or packaging preventing the door from closing
- The door joints are broken or torn
- Your freezer is on a level surface.
Important Notes:
- In the case of a power failure, or if the appliance is unplugged and plugged in again, the gas in the cooling system of your freezer will destabilize, causing the compressor protective thermal element to open. Your freezer will start to operate normally after 5 minutes.
- If the appliance will not be used for a long period of time (such as during holidays), disconnect the plug. Defrost and clean the freezer, leaving the door open to prevent the formation of mildew and odor.
- If the problem persists after you have followed all the instructions above, please consult the nearest Authorized Service Centre.
- This appliance is designed for domestic use and for the stated purposes only. It is not suitable for commercial or common use. If the consumer uses the appliance in a way that does not comply with these instructions, we emphasize that the manufacturer and the dealer will not be responsible for any repair or failure within the guarantee period.
Hints for Energy Saving
- Install the appliance in a cool, well-ventilated room, but not in direct sunlight and not near a heat source (such as a radiator or oven); otherwise, an insulating plate should be used.
- Allow warm food and drinks to cool before placing them inside the appliance.
- Drinks or other liquids should be covered when inside the appliance. If left uncovered, the humidity inside the appliance will increase, therefore the appliance uses more energy. Keeping drinks and other liquids covered helps preserve their smell and taste.
- Avoid keeping the doors open for long periods and opening the doors too frequently, as warm air will enter the appliance and cause the compressor to switch on unnecessarily often.
- The door gasket must be clean and pliable. In case of wear, if your gasket is detachable, replace the gasket. If not detachable, you have to replace the door.
- Eco mode / default setting function preserves frozen foods while saving energy.
- Frozen Compartment (Freezer): The internal configuration of the appliance is the one that ensures the most efficient use of energy.

Before using the refrigerator
After the appliance has been switched on for the first time or after transport, keep the refrigerator in an upright position for 3 hours before switching it on, to ensure efficient operation. Otherwise, you may damage the compressor. There may be frost in the refrigerator when you switch it on for the first time; the frost will disappear once the refrigerator starts cooling.
DIFFERENT FUNCTIONS AND POSSIBILITIES
Information about the No-Frost technology
No-Frost freezers differ from ordinary freezers in their operating principle.
In ordinary freezers, the moisture that forms when the door is opened or when food is introduced freezes on the food, which is why ice forms in the freezer compartment. To remove the ice, you must periodically switch off the freezer, place frozen food in a special refrigerated container, and remove the ice that has formed.
The situation is completely different with No-Frost technology in freezers. In the freezer compartment, dry and cold air is supplied by several fans through a ventilator to achieve even distribution. The cold air is distributed evenly among all shelves and compartments, preventing the formation of moisture on food products.
The appliance is designed for use in accordance with the instructions for use in the household and similar applications.

Do not place hot food in the freezer before it has cooled down, as this will increase the temperature of the freezer.
When freezing fresh food (i.e., meat, fish, and poultry), divide it into portions that you will use for one meal.
For storing frozen food: The information on the packaging of the frozen food must be followed. If no information is provided, the food should not be stored for more than 3 months from the date of purchase.
Maximum loading: If you want to store a large quantity of food and use the maximum freezing capacity of the freezer, you can remove all the drawers, but leave the lower drawers in place. This way, it is possible to store bulky items directly on the shelves.
When buying frozen food, make sure it was frozen at the appropriate temperature and that the packaging is intact.
Frozen food should be transported in suitable containers to maintain the quality of the food and to be returned to the freezer as quickly as possible.
- If the packaging of the frozen food is damp and smells strange, it is likely that the food was not stored at the proper temperature and the contents have deteriorated.
The storage time of frozen food depends on the room temperature, the thermostat setting, how often the door is opened, the type of food, and the time it takes to transport the food from the store to your home. Always follow the instructions printed on the packaging and never exceed the recommended maximum storage time.
If you use the maximum freezing capacity of your freezer:
When freezing fresh food: The maximum amount of fresh food (in kg) that can be frozen in 24 hours is shown on the rating plate. (Your refrigerator has a freezing capacity of 25 kg at an ambient temperature of 25°C
For optimal performance of the appliance and to achieve the maximum freezing capacity, 24 hours before placing the food in the freezer, activate the "Super Freeze" (SF) mode.
After placing the fresh food in the freezer, 24 hours are usually sufficient for freezing. The "Super Freeze" mode will be automatically deactivated within 2-3 days to save energy.
If you freeze a small amount of food (up to 3 kg) in the freezer:
- Place the food in the freezer, making sure it does not touch already frozen food, and activate the "Fast Freeze" mode. You can place the food next to other frozen food, after it has been completely frozen (after at least 24 hours).
He has re-frozen the product after it has been completely thawed. This
can cause health problems such as food poisoning.
Leave the frozen food to cool completely before putting it in the freezer. When you buy frozen food, make sure it has been frozen at the appropriate temperature and that the packaging is intact. The taste of some seasonings (anise, basil, pepper, vinegar, bouillon cubes, dill, garlic, onion, turmeric, marjoram, oregano, thyme, etc.) changes and becomes stronger after prolonged storage. Therefore, only a very small amount of seasoning should be added to frozen food, or seasoning should be added after thawing. The storage time of food depends on the oil or fat used. Suitable oils or fats are margarine, beef fat, olive oil, while butter and lard are unsuitable. Food in sauce should be frozen in plastic containers, and dry food in foil or plastic bags.
If the appliance does not work:
- Is there a power failure?
- Is the plug correctly inserted into the socket?
- Is the fuse of the plug or the main fuse blown?
- Is the socket damaged? To check this, plug another appliance into the socket, which you know works.
The appliance does not cool sufficiently:
Is the temperature correctly set? Is the freezer door opened frequently or left open for extended periods? Is the freezer door properly closed? It is possible that you have placed food in the appliance that touches the back wall, blocking the air circulation. - Is the freezer overloaded? - Is there enough space around the appliance for proper air circulation? - Is the ambient temperature within the limits described in the operating instructions?
Food in the freezer is excessively thawed:
- Is the temperature correctly set?
- Is there a large quantity of food placed in the freezer at once?
The appliance is unusually noisy:
To maintain the set cooling level, the compressor will activate from time to time. The noise the freezer makes during this time is perfectly normal. Once the required cooling level is reached, the noise will decrease or stop by itself. If the noise does not stop:
- Is the device level? Adjust the legs if necessary.
- Is there anything for the dispenser?
- Place / insert the shelves correctly. In such a case, swap the positions of the shelves and/or the drawers.
- The items placed on the freezer or dispenser?
Normal noises:
Cracking (popping) sounds:
- During automatic defrosting. When the device cools down or warms up (due to expansion of materials).
Short pause: Occurs when the thermostat switches the compressor on/off.
Compressor noise (normal motor noise): This noise indicates that the compressor is working normally. For a short time, after it turns on, the compressor may make a louder noise.
Bubbling sounds: This noise is caused by the flow of refrigerant through the system.
Hot water: Normal noise from the hot water to the evaporator during defrosting. This noise is heard during defrosting.
Airflow noise (normal fan noise): This noise is normal for freezers with No-Frost technology and is due to the air circulation.
Increasing humidity in the device:
Is the food well and properly packaged? Are the drawers well and tightly closed before being placed in the freezer? Does the door of the appliance close properly and completely? When opening the door, humidity from the air in the room enters the interior of the device. If the humidity level in the room is high, the more often the door is opened, the faster the appliance will become humid.
The doors do not open or close properly:
Is it possible that the door of the freezer is not closed properly, or that the quantities and items placed for the first time are not correct? Is it possible that the door seals are damaged or worn? - Is the freezer positioned on a flat surface?
The ribs of the freezer are warm at the spot where they touch the door:
During operation (in hot weather), the surfaces that are touched may become hot until the compressor works. This is normal.
IMPORTANT:
- The thermal protection of the compressor switches off only in case of sudden power interruptions or switching off of the device from the mains, as the pressure in the cooling system is not stabilized. This is quite normal and the device will resume operation after 4 - 5 minutes.
- The cooling block of the freezer is hidden in the back wall. Due to the principle of operation, the back surface of the device may become covered with water droplets. This is a result of the compressor working at certain intervals of time. This is normal. It is not necessary to wipe it off, unless the water is dripping excessively.
- If you do not intend to use the device for a longer period of time (e.g., summer holidays, etc.), disconnect it from the electrical mains. Clean the device according to Section 4 and leave the door open to prevent moisture and odors. The device you have purchased is designed for use in household conditions and can be used only in such, or in similar conditions as described above. It is not suitable for use in commercial or industrial conditions. If the device is used in a manner that is not in accordance with the above, we declare that the manufacturer or the commercial representative will not be responsible for repairs in case of damage within the warranty period. If the problems persist, after you have followed all the instructions above, please consult an authorized service provider.
Energy saving tips
- Install the device in a cool and well-ventilated room, but it should not be exposed to direct sunlight or placed near sources of heat or fire (radiator, stove, etc.). In the opposite case, use insulation material.
- Allow hot food and drinks to cool down outside the device.
- When you defrost frozen food, place it in the refrigerator compartment. The low temperature of the frozen food will help cool the refrigerator compartment while it defrosts. In this way, electricity is saved. If the frozen food is left outside, it will lead to increased electricity consumption.
- Drinks should be covered. Otherwise, moisture will form in the device. This will also increase the operating time. Covered drinks help preserve their aroma and taste.
- When you place food or drinks, open the device door as little as possible.
- Keep the lids of the compartments with different temperatures (compartment for fruits and vegetables, etc.) tightly closed.
- Clean the door gasket. It must be clean and dry. Replace the gasket if it is damaged. When closing, if the door gasket is not sealing, replace the gasket. If it is not sealing, you must replace the door.
- If the refrigerator/freezer function for setting the temperature is not working, the food may not be stored properly.
- Freezer compartment: The internal configuration of the appliance is such as to ensure the most efficient use of energy.
- Do not block the ventilation openings in the freezer compartment (if any).
