When using electric appliance, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS This appliance is for: 220-240V AC, 50/60Hz, 1800W BASIC OPERATIONS

1. Plug the hair dryer into the correct power supply.

2. Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the dryer.

3. Press the +/- button to select the airflow and heat desired on the digital

screen display. 3 temperature settings: Low/ Medium/High - Low airflow and Low temperature for gentle drying - High airflow and High temperature for very quick drying

4. To lock and unlock all the buttons, press and hold down the lock button.

5. Press Cold Shot Button if desired.

MAINTENANCE Your appliance is virtuall y maintenance free. No lubrication is needed. Keep heated surfaces clean and free of dust, dirt, and hair spray. If cleaning becomes necessary, disconnect the appliance from the power source and wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. If the cord becomes twisted, untwist prior to use. GROUND INSTRUCTIONS, SERVICING OF DOUBLE-INSULATED

APPLIANCES In a double-insulated appliance, two systems of insulation are provided instead of grounding. No grounding means is provided on a double- insulated appliance, nor should a means for grounding be added to the appliance. Servicing a double-insulated appliance requires extreme care and knowledge of the system and should be done only by a qualified service personnel. Replacement parts for a double-insulated appliance must be identical to the parts they replace. LIMITED TWO-YEAR WARRANTY

What Does This Warranty Cover? Any malfunction or defect caused by faulty materials or workmanship for any Farouk Systems, Inc. appliance that was purchased through a professional salon or professional salon chain. How Long Does The Warranty Last? Two (2) years from the date of purchase.6 Limitations. (A) THE DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, GOOD AND WORKMANLIKE PERFORMANCE OF SERVICE, OR OTHERWISE, ON THIS PRODUCT ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE WHICH IS TWO (2) YEARS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE. Farouk Systems, Inc. will replace your appliance at no charge other than a $15.00 return shipping and handling fee. The replacement appliance is warranted for the remainder of the original two (2) year warranty period. If the tool sent in is no longer available, it will be replaced with a comparable tool. What Does This Warranty Not Cover? This warranty does not cover any steel parts; plastic parts; flex cord; damages caused by negligence, misuse, tampering, alteration, failure to follow safety, operation or maintenance instructions; appliances purchased through any internet auction site or from any other outlet that is not an authorized reseller; or alteration or removal of the model number or other identifying marks on the appliance or the packaging.
