How to replace the s-bag dust bag?

Pull the S-BAG button to access the compartment. Pull the handle of the support to remove the assembly. Press the release button to discard the used bag. Insert a new s-bag Ultra Long Performance by engaging the plastic collar. Close the lid; it should close without force.

How to clean or replace the exhaust air filter?

Press the FILTER button to open the grille. If the filter frame is blue, it is washable: rinse with warm water (dirty side), tap, repeat 4 times, then let dry 24 hours in the open air. If the frame is green, replace it with a new filter. Close the grille until it clicks.

What to do if the vacuum cleaner suddenly stops?

Unplug the appliance. Check that the brush, tube, hose, and filters are not blocked. Let it cool for 30 minutes. If the problem persists, contact an Electrolux approved service center.

How to use the AUTO function?

On models with remote control and AUTO function, the vacuum starts in AUTO mode (AUTO indicator on). The power automatically adjusts to the floor type. To adjust manually, press +/- on the handle. To return to AUTO, press the AUTO button.

How to clean the turbo brush?

Separate the turbo brush from the tube. Remove tangled threads by cutting them with scissors. Use the hose handle to vacuum residues. Caution: the rotating brush can catch objects; turn off the vacuum cleaner before any cleaning.

How to replace the batteries of the remote control or the lighted brush?

For the remote control (handle), replace the CR1632 battery when the red indicator lights up. For the PureVision brush, replace the AA batteries when the light flashes rapidly. Remove batteries before disposing of the appliance.

Which accessories to use for hard floors?

Use the ParkettoPro brush (if supplied) or the FlowMotion/PureVision brush set for hard floors. The FlexProPlus brush is ideal for hard-to-reach places (under furniture).

What to do if the S-BAG indicator stays on after changing the bag?

After replacing the bag, the indicator may stay on for up to 10 seconds. If it persists, check that the bag is properly installed (collar engaged, no blockage). If needed, replace the motor filter.

Can the vacuum cleaner be used to vacuum liquids?

No, this vacuum cleaner is designed only for dry use. Vacuuming liquid can damage the motor and is not covered by warranty. In case of accidental ingestion, have the motor replaced by an authorized center.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Reduction of suction capacity versus normal	Check if the s-bag is full or blocked.Check if the motor filter is clogged and needs changing.Check if nozzle is blocked and needs to be cleared.Check if hose is blocked by squeezing it gently. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

WARNING: Turbo nozzles* have a rotating brush where parts can get entrapped. Please use them with caution and only on intended surfaces. Please turn the vacuum cleaner off before removing entrapped parts or cleaning the brush.

Batteries must be removed from the remote control in the handle* / LED lighted nozzle* before scraping the product**.

Always disconnect the plug from the mains before cleaning or maintaining the appliance or when removing the battery. The battery is to be disposed of safely.

PURED9 should only be used for normal vacuuming indoors and in a domestic environment. Make sure the vacuum cleaner is stored in a dry place.

SERVICING AND WARRANTY

All service or repairs must be carried out by an authorized Electrolux service centre.
