2. Care and maintenance instructions
- Completely remove any stickers.
- Before using any cookware with a non-stick coating for the first time, first boil water in the cookware and clean it using washing-up liquid. Following this, and after each subsequent usage of the product, always apply a thin layer of cooking oil.
- When frying, first allow the empty cookware to heat up (moderate heat), then add the food and brown it, and then cook through at a low heat setting.
- Discolourations in the coating do not detract from the frying/cooking effect.IAN 48715 69
- Only use wooden or plastic spatulas for turning food. Never cut food inside the cookware.
- After each use, clean with hot water and a cloth or a soft sponge and add a little washing up liquid to the hot water if necessary. Rub a little fat or cooking oil into the cookware after every usage. Note: All parts are dishwasher-safe. Surfaces may however become discoloured in the dishwasher, but this will not make the appliance unfit for purpose in any way.
- When the handle is screwed to the cookware, the handle screw may become70 loosened. If necessary, tighten using a standard screwdriver.
- Handles/-lid knobs with silicon protection are suitable for use in the oven up to 150°C . Prior to every usage, please check the base of the cookware and the glass- ceramic hob for any residue. Even small impurities may leave scratch marks on the glass-ceramic hob.
- Do not leave heated fat unsupervised.
- Do not use water to extinguish burning fat; instead use a blanket or a suitable fire extinguisher.
- Do not heat the cookware for extended periods when it is empty.IAN 48715 71 Important: Do not overheat the cookware it may cause damage to the non-stick function and to avoid smoke emission.
- Do not use abrasive cleaning agents!
- CAUTION! Handles will become hot. Please use oven gloves (not required for plastic handles).
- Please ensure hot lids are not cooled down suddenly from hot to cold.
- Never allow small children to play near hot cookware unsupervised.
- Place cookware on suitable protective mats, to protect table covers and tables.72
- Please note: The Supplier is not responsible for damage that occurs as a result of not observing the care and maintenance instructions. A right of recourse is therefore excluded.
3. In the case of use on induction hobs
- PLEASE NOTE! High heating-up rate – do not overheat cookware when preheating. If overheating does occur, please ventilate the room sufficiently.
- Under certain conditions, a sound may be emitted due to the electromagnetic properties of the heat source and the cookware. This is completely normal and is not the result of anyIAN 48715 73 defect in your induction hob or the cookware.
- The cookware should be placed in the centre of the induction hob ring.
- Do not touch the glass-ceramic surface immediately after cooking because the hob will be hot from the residual heat from the base of the cookware. Always keep children at a distance.

5.1 Warranty conditions
The warranty period begins with the date of purchase. Please keep the original till receipt in a safe place. This is required as your proof of purchase. If a defect in materials or workmanship occurs within three years of the date your product was purchased, we will repair or replace the product at our discretion at no charge to you. This service under warranty assumes that the defective product and the proof of purchase (till receipt)76 are submitted within the three-year period and that a brief description in writing is provided of what the defect is and when it occurred. If the defect is covered by our warranty, the repaired product or a new one will be sent back to you. There is no new warranty period following repair or replacement of the product.
5.2 Warranty period and statutory claims relating
to defects The warranty period is not extended when a service is provided under warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts. Any damage or defects present at purchase must beIAN 48715 77 reported immediately the product is unpacked. Repairs incurred once the warranty period has expired are chargeable.
5.3 Scope of warranty
The product has been carefully manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines and was thoroughly checked before being delivered. The warranty applies to defective materials or workmanship.
