Check that the switch is ON, the tank has fuel mix, the spark plug is not fouled, and the air filter is clean. If the engine is flooded, push the choke to OFF CHOKE and follow the hot start procedure.

Clean the air filter after 10 fill-ups or 5 hours of use. Remove the cover, take out the filter, wash it in warm soapy water, rinse, dry completely in air, then reinstall. Replace it annually or after 50 hours.

Use special bar and chain oil or SAE 30 oil. In very cold weather, dilute with 5 to 10% diesel or kerosene. Never use used oil.
How to check the chain brake?
With the engine running at full throttle, activate the brake by pushing the front hand guard. The chain must stop immediately. Perform this test several times a day. If the brake band is less than 0.5 mm thick, have it replaced by a dealer.
What is the chain sharpening procedure?
Use a 5.5 mm round file and a depth gauge set to 0.635 mm. File all teeth on one side at a 60° angle for the top and side plate, then file the other side. Replace the chain if tooth height is less than 4 mm.
How to store the chainsaw at the end of the season?
Clean the machine, empty the fuel tank, add stabilizer if necessary. Remove the spark plug, pour 1 teaspoon of 2-stroke oil into the hole, pull the rope 8 to 10 times, replace the plug. Store in a dry, cool place out of reach of children.
