SET-UP AND USE
Before rst use
- Place your appliance on a at and stable surface.
- Remove any scker, protective foil or storage cover on your appliance
- Plug your appliance into a earth socket.
- Before the rts use, always heat up the appliance to burn the protective fat and to eliminate smells when you buy new appliances. Follow the below steps:
a. Turn the thermostat buon to maximum, let it heat up for 10 minutes
b. Air the room during this operaon
c. Let the appliance cool down before starng to clean the appliance with a damp cloth; you can use a sponge humidied with a dishwashing liquid.
NOTE: It is normal that strange odor comes out from the unit for the rst use. This will cease aer a short while.
Using your appliance
√ Unroll the power cord completely.
√ Insert the plug with thermostat into the appliance (cf "Assembly" below), make sure the thermostat is on its minimum posion and put the plug in an earthed power socket.

√ Select the cooking temperature using the thermostat knob. The pilot light will come on, indicang that the appliance is heang.
√ Preheat the grill to reach the ideal cooking temperature. When the appliance reaches the desired temperature, the pilot light will go out. Now put the food onto the grilling surface.
√ The grilling mes vary according to the nature of the food and to your personal taste.
√ When grilling is nished switch o the grill and disconnect it.
NOTE: Disconnect the power source cable before any operation of cleaning of maintenance and accessories assembly.
Some ps:
√ Frozen food should always be thawed before it is grilled.
√ To grill meat, put the thermostat in its maximum posion and preheat the grill. For other ingredients, choose the temperature accordingly.
√ Never scratch the special non-sck coang. Use a wooden spatula or a heat resistant plasc spatula.
Cleaning and maintenance
√ At the end of your cooking, check you have turn o the thermostat dial.
√ Unplug the appliance.
√ Always let the appliance to cool down for at least one hour before starng any cleaning operaon.
√ Wash the grill plate with a sponge humidied with a neutral pH dishwashing liquid, rinse it under clear water and dry it with clean cloth.
√ When cleaning, use a so cloth (or sponge) and neutral cleaner on the surfaces of the plancha.
√ Do not use a hard brush or any others cleaners to avoid scratching or damaging the plancha.
√ Never put the plancha under the water. However, should there be water on the electric conncon, wait unl the appliance is completely dry before using it anew.

WARNING: Always let your appliance unplugged and cool down for at least one hour before any cleaning operaon! Do not use any toxic, solvent, industrial or harsh cleaning products.
