CAUTION

Keep the scale away from water.

Treat the scale with care.

Do not place the food on the edge of the weighing platform.

Do not put the scale on an uneven surface while in use.

USEFUL TIPS

When using this scale, take the usual safety precautions applicable to any household appliance.

• The manufacturer does not guarantee that this product is water-resistant. Do not expose it to rain or moisture.
• Do not try to dismount this scale. They do not contain any parts that could be repaired by the user.
• Read the instructions carefully before using the scale.
• Use the scale only for the foreseen purpose.
• Bear in mind that this scale has not been designed for commercial or medical use.

This product must not be used by children or other persons whose physical sensory or mental state prevents them from using it safely without assistance or supervision. Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with this appliance.

1. Open the battery cover at the back of the scale.
2. Insert 4 AAA batteries into the battery compartment and close the compartment cover.
3. Place the scale on a firm, even surface.

At the rear part of the scale, select the desired unit of measure (g/lb:oz).

1. If the screen does not indicate 0g or 0:0.0 lb:oz, press the button to determine the tare.

1. Place the food on the surface and the scale will display the value.

1. After weighing the food press the button and keep it pressed for two seconds. On releasing it the screen will display the word "End" and the scale will switch off.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

If you have any difficulty in using the scale:

1. Check that the batteries are properly inserted.
2. Check you have selected the desired unit of measure (g/lb:oz).
3. Check that the scale is on a flat, even surface and that it is not touching the wall.
4. Do not put the food to be weighed on the scale until the screen indicates 0g or 0:0.0 lb:oz.
5. If nothing appears on the screen when you press the button to turn on the scale or the word "Lo" is displayed, insert 4 new AAA batteries.

Changing the batteries

1. If the letters "Err" are displayed, the scale has been overloaded.
