Instructions for use
Read the instructions completely and save this manual for future use.

Fig 4. Replace the bulb
The bulb generates heat when in use. Heat may become trapped and cause an accident.
- Do not cover the flashlight with cloth or paper during use.
- Do not place the head of the light on the floor.
- Do not touch the lens, reflector, or bulb during or immediately after use, as they become hot.
- Use only the battery pack specified in the Specifications section.
CAUTION
- This flashlight is not waterproof.
- Do not use it in damp or wet locations.
- Do not expose it to rain or snow.
- Do not wash it with water.
- Store it in a safe, dry, and clean place when not in use.
- Flashlight automatically goes off when the battery voltage drops below a specified level.
- Do not disassemble the flashlight. Servicing should be performed by an authorized service center.
- Do not throw the battery pack into a fire. This can cause an explosion.

WARNING
- Do not use other than the Panasonic battery packs that are designed for use with this rechargeable tool.
- Do not dispose of the battery pack in a fire, or expose it to excessive heat.
- Do not drive the likes of nails into the battery pack, subject it to shocks, dismantle it, or attempt to modify it.
- Do not allow metal objects to touch the battery pack terminals.
- Do not carry or store the battery pack in the same container as nails or similar metal objects.
- Do not charge the battery pack in a high-temperature location, such as next to a fire or in direct sunlight. Otherwise, the battery may overheat, catch fire, or explode.
- Never use other than the dedicated charger to charge the battery pack. Otherwise, the battery may leak, overheat, or explode. After removing the battery pack from the tool or the charger, always reattach the pack cover. Otherwise, the battery contacts could be shorted, leading to a risk of fire.





ASSEMBLY
- To insert the battery pack; (fig.1) Slide the battery pack in place at the bottom of the flashlight. The battery should snap into place. If this is loose, it has not been properly connected. Make sure the battery is securely connected to the flashlight.
- To remove the battery pack; Press the two tabs on the sides of the battery pack. Slide the battery pack out of the flashlight.
- Shoulder strap (fig.2) Follow the steps to make the loop at the buckle. Make sure the strap is firmly fixed on the flashlight.
OPERATION
- Press the switch to light on.
- Head angle adjustment; (fig.3) Head angle can be changed at 4-locking positions for desired angle.
- When it is placed away from you, make sure it will not be tumble.
- When the battery capacity level gets low, low voltage indicator will start to blink. Then charge the battery pack.
- Press the switch to light off after use.
CAUTION:
- Read the instruction manual of the charger to charge the battery pack, and how to handle battery pack.
MAINTENANCE
- To make any adjustments, changing accessory, or storing the flashlight, remove battery pack from the flashlight. To clean the flashlight, wipe with a dry, soft cloth.
How to replace the new bulb. (fig.4)
- Take off the ring (①)
- Match the joint part A and B, then remove the bulb. (2), (3)
- Install the new bulb and turn to hold firmly. (4,5)
- Fit the ring. (1) Lens, reflector, and bulb are hot immediately after use. Wait a while before replacing the bulb after switch off.
- To purchase a new bulb, please consult your authorized dealer. (Please always use the genuine bulbs.)

How to replace a new lamp, (Fig. 4)

- Align the parts of the connection A and B, then remove the lamp. (2), 3) 3. Install the new lamp and secure it firmly. (4, 5) 4. Install the ring. ① Note: The lamp gets hot immediately after use. Wait a while before replacing the lamp after turning it off. *When purchasing a new lamp, please consult your authorized dealer. (Please always use original lamps.)

How to replace a new lamp, (Fig. 4)
1. Install the ring (1). 2. Insert the lamp into the socket, then install the lamp. (2, 3) 3. Install the lamp and secure it with the locking ring. (4, 5) 4. Install the ring. (1) The lamp, bulb, and lamp holder will become hot immediately after operation. Before replacing the lamp, turn off the power and allow it to cool. If you have any questions, please consult your authorized dealer. (Use only genuine lamps.)
