Frequently Asked Questions - KBA14009 Kaiser Baas

Which smartphones are compatible with the VR-X headset?
The headset is compatible with smartphones whose screen size is between 4.0 and 6.0 inches and whose dimensions are between 124 mm x 59 mm and 158 mm x 78 mm. The phone must also have a gyroscope sensor and a magnetometer for the interactive button. The required operating systems are iOS 8.0 or Android 4.1 and later.
How do I install my smartphone in the headset?
First, remove the phone case from the VR-X headset by sliding it out. Insert your smartphone into the case, aligning the center of the screen with the red mark. Use the foam pads if necessary for a better fit. Then, slide the case back into the headset.
How do I adjust the interpupillary distance and focus?
Use the buttons on top of the headset: slide the small individual buttons left or right to adjust the interpupillary distance (from 58 mm to 72 mm). Then, slide the main button forward or backward to adjust the focal distance (from 10 mm to 20 mm).
Can I use the headset with glasses?
The VR-X headset is designed to be used with glasses, but comfort may vary. It is recommended to remove glasses if possible or adjust the focal distance to accommodate. The foam pads can help keep the phone and glasses in place.
How do I clean the VR-X headset?
Use an antibacterial wipe to clean the parts in contact with the skin, then dry with the provided lens cleaning cloth. Avoid harsh or abrasive chemicals. Do not share the headset without cleaning it between uses to prevent transmission of diseases.
Is the headset suitable for children?
The headset is not recommended for children under 13. For users under 18, use must be under the supervision of a responsible adult. Avoid prolonged use to prevent impacts on balance and coordination.
What to do in case of motion sickness or dizziness?
Stop using immediately. Take a 10 to 15 minute break every 30 minutes, or more often if needed. If symptoms persist (nausea, dizziness, eye strain), consult a doctor. Do not drive or handle dangerous objects after use.
Can I use the headset in a moving vehicle?
No, never use the headset in a moving vehicle (car, bus, train, etc.) as this increases the risk of motion sickness and can distract the driver. Use it only in a safe and stationary environment.
How does the interactive magnetic button work?
The magnetic button located on the side of the headset interacts with the magnetometer of your smartphone. Check that your phone has a magnetometer and that it is placed near the button. For example, on iPhone 6, the magnetometer is at the top of the phone.
Where can I download compatible VR apps?
Download VR apps from the Google Play Store (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS). Make sure the content supports stereoscopic display (left/right split). Download fees may apply depending on your plan.
