What to do in case of a paper jam?
Refer to chapter 11 of the manual. Open the front and rear covers, gently remove the jammed paper following the arrows. Avoid tearing the paper. Also check the automatic document feeder.
How to install toner cartridges?
Open the front cover, unlock the drum cover. Shake the new toner cartridges vertically at least 10 times. Remove the protective strip and insert each cartridge into its slot (yellow, magenta, cyan, black). Close the cover.
How to connect the printer to the network (LAN)?
Connect a shielded Ethernet cable between the printer and your router. If your network uses DHCP, the IP address will be assigned automatically. Otherwise, manually configure the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway via the network menu.
How to scan a document to a computer?
Place the document on the glass or in the feeder. Press [Scan], choose the mode (Viewer, File, Email, etc.), select the destination computer if on network, then press [B&W] or [Color].
How to send a fax manually?
