Frequently Asked Questions - Durablade Pro REMINGTON

How to charge the Remington Durablade Pro?
Make sure the device is off. Connect the USB cable to the device and to the included USB adapter or a live USB port. The LED indicator stays on during charging and turns off when the battery is fully charged (about 4 hours).
How long does the battery last after a full charge?
The battery life can last up to 60 minutes after a full charge. To preserve the battery, let it fully discharge every 6 months, then fully recharge.
Can I use the device in the shower?
Yes, the Durablade Pro trimmer can be used in the bath or shower. It is designed for wet and dry use.
How to clean the blades after use?
After each use, rinse the blade under hot water to remove hair and gel residue. For the blades, it is recommended to lubricate them with a few drops of sewing machine oil after cleaning.
How to change the blade heads?
To remove a blade head, rotate it counterclockwise and lift it off the body. To replace, place it on the body and rotate it clockwise until it locks.
How to use the comb guides?
Select the guide of the desired length (1, 2, 4 or 6 mm). Place it on top of the blade and push until it clicks. To remove, pull it upward. Use the guide by placing it flat against the skin and moving slowly.
What to do if the device does not turn on?
First check that the battery is charged. If the LED indicator flashes quickly, the battery is low. Plug in the device to recharge. Make sure the device is off before plugging in.
How to get a close shave?
For a close shave, do not use a comb guide. Place the flat top of the blade against the skin and glide it slowly in the opposite direction of hair growth.
How to lubricate the blades?
After cleaning, apply a few drops of sewing machine oil to the blades, then wipe off excess. This ensures lasting performance.
How to recycle the battery at end of life?
The battery must be removed before disposal. Open the device by removing the comb guide and blade head. Extract the internal structure, disconnect the battery from the board, and dispose of it at a proper recycling center.
