- This device is suitable only for domestic use.
- Do not use the device on carpets or similar surfaces. Always use the scale on a flat and hard surface. This ensures consistent measurement.
- Never use the product outdoors!
- Ensure that the device is dry during use.
- Ensure that the scale does not topple over. There is a risk of injury!
- Do not use the scales if it is defective.
- The scale should be operated only in a horizontal position.

Do not immerse the device under water and ensure that it does not come into contact with water.
- Pay special attention to the correct polarity when inserting the batteries! Ensure that you do not reverse the battery polarity under any circumstances!
- Never dismantle the device under any circumstances. Warranty claims are rendered void in the event of improper use.

- Avoid exposing the scales to direct sunlight. As far as possible, avoid placing the scales in places where the

Unless they are supervised by a person who is responsible for their safety or have received instructions from this person about how the device is to be properly used.
- Never overload the product. The maximum weighing capacity of the product is 20kg .

3. Commissioning
Take the device out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Before using the baby scale, insert the batteries into the battery compartment at the back. Ensure that the polarity of the contacts is correct when inserting the batteries. Place the product only on a firm, even and dry surface.
5. Usage and function
Switch on the device by pressing the "ON/OFF" button on the control panel. Place your baby at the centre of the scale. The weight is shown on the display after a few seconds. Wait till the weight display shows "Hold" and a lock symbol appears at the top right of the display ( ).

5.2 Hold function
This baby scale has an automatic "Hold" function that can be enabled.
Automatic "hold" function
The automatic "Hold" function turns on when the baby is placed on the scale and it is still for a moment. Wait till the "Hold" symbol ( ) is shown continuously in the display. The measured weight is displayed till the "Hold" function is stopped.
"Hold" function that can be enabled
If the baby is placed on the scale and it is not still enough, then the automatic "Hold" function is not enabled but you can enable the "Hold" function manually by pressing the "Hold" button ( ) briefly. As soon as the "Hold" symbol is shown continuously in the display, the measured weight is displayed until the "Hold" function is stopped.
Press the "Hold" button or the "Tare" button to disable the "Hold" function.
5.3 Tare function
The "Tare" function resets the current reading to 0. If you want to weigh your baby, for example, using a bassinet, you can first put the bassinet on the scale and then press the "Tare" button. The scale automatically deducts the weight of the bassinet.
If you now place the baby along with the bassinet, the weight of the baby is now shown in the display.
5.4 Changing the unit
By pressing the "Unit" button, you can select between the following units:
KG = Kilograms; LB = Pound
6. Replacing the batteries
Open the battery compartment at the back of the device. Remove the discharged batteries from the battery compartment and dispose of them properly.
Then insert the new batteries into the battery compartment and pay attention to the correct polarity of the contacts.

Remove the batteries if you have not used the device for a long period.

Note: Do not use rechargeable batteries as far as possible since this may eventually lead to restrictions in the functioning of the device!
7. Warning display
"IEEE" display:
The "IEEE" display implies that the device is overloaded.
"Lo" indicator:
The „Lo“ indicator appears in the display when the batteries are empty and need to be replaced.
8. Cleaning and Care
Follow the safety instructions strictly when cleaning. Once the device is switched off, you can clean the surface using a damp, soft cloth. Never use any cleaning agents, solvents or scouring agents for cleaning. Use only a soft cloth to clean the device.

Please do not try to open the device to carry out repairs or modifications. Avoid contact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not waterproof. Please use it only in dry surroundings. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Do not expose the device to high temperatures. Do not expose the device to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic components. Check the device for any damage before using it. The device should not be used if it was subject to impact or has been damaged in some other manner. Please comply with the local regulations and restrictions. Do not use the appliance for purposes other than those described in the user manual.

Any repair or modifications to the appliance, which is not carried out by the original supplier, will void any warranty and guarantee claims. The device should be used only by persons who have read and understood this user manual. The specifications of the device may be changed without prior notification.

10. Disposal instructions
