How to clean the immersion blender?

Always unplug the appliance. Clean the motor unit with a damp cloth, never immerse it. Rinse the mixing attachment under running water without fully immersing it. Dry thoroughly. Caution, the blades are very sharp.

Can I blend hot foods?

Yes, but be careful to avoid splashes. Do not plunge the blender into boiling liquids without adding a cooler liquid. Keep the blender upright to minimize splattering.

Can the blender operate without liquid?

No, never blend food without adding liquid. Operating empty can damage the appliance and will not yield good results.

How to change speed during use?

Use the speed regulator on the motor unit to adjust the speed gradually. You can adjust the speed even while blending. For immediate maximum power, press the Turbo button.

What to do if the appliance does not start?

Check that the mixing attachment is properly inserted and that the speed regulator is not set to zero. Make sure the outlet works. If the problem persists, contact after-sales service.

Can I use an extension cord?

No, it is strictly not recommended to use an extension cord with this appliance. The short cord is designed to avoid risks of entanglement or tripping. Plug the appliance directly into a wall outlet.

Are the blades removable?

No, the blades are an integral part of the mixing attachment. To clean the attachment, rinse it under running water without removing the blades. Be careful because they are very sharp.

Can I wash the motor unit with water?

No, never immerse the motor unit in water. Clean it only with a damp cloth to avoid any risk of electric shock.

Is the appliance under warranty?

Yes, the Boretti B222 blender has a warranty of 2 years from the date of purchase. Accessories (attachment, measuring cup) are warranted for 6 months. Keep your receipt.

This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures that are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The guarantee is issued with the original till receipt. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty.

If your device breaks down within the 2-year warranty period, you can return the device together with your receipt to the shop where you purchased it.

The guarantee on accessories and components that are liable to wear-and-tear is only 6 months.

The guarantee and responsibility of the supplier and manufacturer lapse automatically in the following cases:

• If the instructions in this manual have not been followed.
• In case of incorrect connection, e.g., electrical voltage that is too high.
• In case of incorrect, rough or abnormal use.
• In case of insufficient or incorrect maintenance.
• In case of repairs or alterations to the device by the consumer or non-authorised third parties.
• If the customer used parts or accessories that are not recommended or provided by the supplier / manufacturer.

Return the appliance to the DOMO Service Department or its service agent for examination, repair, or electrical or mechanical adjustment. Do not try to repair the appliance yourself.

• To protect against electrical shock or burns, do not immerse unit, cord, or plug in water or other liquid.
• Do not operate the appliance with wet hands.
• A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. DO NOT USE WITH AN EXTENSION CORD.
• Unwrap the cord completely to prevent overheating of the cord.
• Do not let the power supply cord hang over the edge of a counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not allow the power cord supply to run underneath or around the unit.

★ BEFORE THE FIRST USE

• Prior to initial use, remove all packaging materials and any promotional stickers.
• Clean the hand blender before first use. See column "Cleaning and maintenance".

★ USE

The soup mixer is suitable for making sauces, soups, mayonnaise, baby food, milkshakes and other mixed food.

Caution: do not mix food without adding fluid.

1. Put the soup mixer on the motor unit and turn it clockwise until you hear a click.
2. Put the plug in the socket.
3. Place the mixer upright in the bowl with ingredients. Do hold tilt the mixer to avoid splattering.
4. Select the speed with the speed regulator and press the on/off button to mix. Keep it pressed in. The speed can be adjusted while mixing, using the speed regulator. Or push the turbo button to mix at top speed.
5. After use, remove the plug from the socket. Disconnect the soup mixer by turning it counterclockwise.

★ CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Always unplug the appliance from the socket before cleaning.
• Never immerse the motor unit in water. Wipe the motor unit clean with a damp cloth.
• Please note: after processing very salty food, the blades must be washed off immediately.
• Remove the soup mixer from the appliance and rinse it off under running water. Never immerse the mixer in water. Do not use abrasive agents or detergent to clean the mixer.
• Dry the mixer thoroughly. Be careful: the blades are very sharp.
