3. Use

Place the can on a fl at work surface. Open the handles.

Position the can opener onto the upper rim of the tin with the thumbscrew facing upward and the front piece pointing toward the center of the can. Slide the can opener into position.

Press the handles together. The tin is now firmly held.

Turn the thumb-screw clockwise until one complete circle around the tin as been cut.

Open the handles and lift away the can opener. The tin lid can now be lifted off by hand.

Alternatively the lid can be lifted off using the lid lifter (integrated pliers) that are positioned on the side.

4. Cleaning

Regular cleaning of the can opener is not necessary since it does not come into contact with can contents. However, it is advisable to check for food remnants after use each time.
