Regular cleaning of the can opener is not necessary since it does not come into contact with can contents. However, it is advisable to check for food remnants after use each time. These can be removed with a washing-up brush under running water. After washing, dry the Can Opener with pliers grip well.
The Can Opener with pliers grip should never be put into a dishwasher for cleaning since the specially hardened steel of the cutting wheel may corrode under the influence of strong cleaning agents and this could lead to impaired function.
5. General Safety Guidelines
The Can Opener with pliers grip must not be used as a toy and should be handled with caution. Please keep out of the reach of children.
