You have chosen to purchase a high-value product. The installation instructions are a component of this product. They contain important instructions on safety, handling and disposal. Make yourself familiar with all the functions of the device prior to its initial operation. For this, read the following installation and safety instructions fully. Use the device only as instructed and for the intended purpose. Keep these instructions safely and hand them over to the next user along with all other documents when passing on the device to a third party.

- Proper usage

This luminaire is not suitable for indoor room lighting.

The LED Tree is intended for outdoor decorative lighting. Any other uses or modifications of the product are deemed as improper use, and can present risks, such as short circuits, fires, electric shocks and damage to the product. The manufacturer assumes no liability for damages that result from improper use. The product is not meant for industrial use.

- Safety Instructions

RISK OF ACCIDENT AND FATAL INJURIES, PARTICULARLY FOR INFANTS AND CHILDREN!

Children or persons lacking in knowledge and experience of handling the device properly, or persons with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities may not use the device, unless supervised by a person responsible for their safety. Children absolutely must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
- Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging material. There is a risk of suffocation from packaging material. Children frequently underestimate dangers. Always keep children away from the product.
This product is not a toy. It should be kept out of reach of children. Children are unable to perceive the potential risks of handling electrical products.
- Do not use the product if you detect any damage to it.

Do not operate lighting chain in the packaging. Do not connect lighting chain with other chains. Do not hang easy flammable decorations such as paper, straw or cloth on the lighting chain. Lighting chain is not a toy, keep away from children. LEDs are not replaceable. Defective lamps are not replaceable.

Do not use the luminaire in explosive atmospheres where flammable vapours, gases or dusts are present.

- Product-specific safety notes

Do not expose the LED Tree to any strong vibrations or heavy mechanical stresses.
In the event of damage, requests for repair, or other problems related to the luminaire, kindly contact a qualified electrician. The LED's are fully integrated in the device and non-replaceable.

Make sure that, when the luminaire is removed, the base plate and the ground spike are also removed, so that they do not present any risk (e.g. risk of stumbling).

The LED Tree must not be connected to the mains supply as long as it is in the packaging.

Installation / Maintenance / Trouble-Shooting / Disposal / Conformity

- Installation Trouble-shooting

Remove the individual parts from the packaging and mount the luminaire according to figures A-E. The site for the tree must be selected in a way that it is erected on a solid, level and vibration-free base. Anchor the tree firmly to the ground and make sure that the tree is stable!

A1 Assembly without spike: Use four suitable screws and dowels (not included) for the selected site underground and mount the base plate 1. Make sure that the recess on the tube of the bottom plate does not apply to the recess when fixing!
A2 Installation with spike: Anchor ground spike 2 to the ground and mount base plate 1 on it. When fixing the standpipe on the pipe of the bottom plate, make sure to position the space of the pipe exactly where the spike is fixed with the screw.

Further steps for both types of installation:

B Attach stand pipe 5 to base plate 1 and tighten Allen screw 6 with the help of Allen key 4.
C Attach crown 8 to stand pipe 5 and tighten Allen screw 6 with the help of Allen key 4.
D Bend the individual branches of the tree to the desired shape.
E Plug the connector plug of lead wire 7 into plug-in power supply 3 and tighten the screw connection, in order to prevent moisture from penetrating inside. Then plug the plug-in power supply into a socket.

- Maintenance/Cleaning

The light emitting diodes are integrated in the device and non-replaceable. The LED Tree is maintenance-free.

• Do not use corrosive cleaning agents under any circumstances.
  Clean the LED Tree regularly with a dry, lint-free cloth. Use a slightly damp cloth for tougher stains.

NOTE

The device contains sensitive electronic components. Therefore, it is possible that radio transmission devices in its immediate vicinity could interfere with its functionality. Such devices could be mobile telephones, wireless sets, CB radio sets, radio control units / other remote control units and microwave devices. In case you detect interferences affecting the functionality of the device, remove such sources of interference from the vicinity of the device.

- Disposal

The packaging is made of environmentally friendly materials, which should be taken to the local recycling centres for disposal.

For information about disposal of products that have completed their useful life, please contact your municipal or city administration.

NOTE

In the interest of environment protection, do not dispose of your product with the household waste at the end of its useful life, but dispose of it professionally by handing it over at collection points. Your municipal/city administration will be able to inform you about the opening times of such collection points.

Declaration of Conformity

This product meets the requirements of the applicable European and national directives. The relevant declarations and documents are held by the manufacturer. The product satisfies the requirements of the German Equipment and Product Safety Act.

Warranty/Service Centre

We assume a 3 year warranty from the date of purchase.

Our products are produced using the latest production methods and are subjected to strict quality controls. We vouch for the faultless condition of our products. We undertake to rectify all material- or manufacturing defects within the warranty period free of cost. Should you detect unexpected defects, send the carefully packed article to us at the given service centre address.

Damages resulting from improper handling or worn parts and consumable items are excluded from the warranty. You may purchase such worn parts or consumables for a fee by calling on the given phone numbers.

You can also have repairs not covered under the warranty (e.g. bulbs) carried out at the given service centre address against individual billing at cost price.

The article shall be repaired at the given service centre address. Prompt processing and return can be assured only if you send the article directly to this address.
