Frequently Asked Questions - VT 1210 Orbegozo

How to adjust the temperature of the wine cellar?
Use the ▲ and ▼ buttons on the control panel to increase or decrease the temperature. The desired temperature is displayed on the screen. The recommended temperature is 14-16°C for red wine and 11-12°C for white wine.
What to do if the wine cellar does not cool enough?
First check that the appliance is plugged in and the fuse has not blown. Make sure it is not near a heat source, ventilation is sufficient (5 cm on sides, 10 cm at rear), and the door is properly closed and not opened too often.
How to clean the wine cellar?
Unplug the appliance and remove the bottles. Clean the interior with a damp cloth and warm water, then dry thoroughly. For the exterior, use a mild cleaner. Also clean the rear filter with a brush or water, and empty the water collection tray.
Can I put warm bottles in the wine cellar?
No, it is recommended to let foods and drinks cool to room temperature before placing them in the appliance. Warm bottles prevent reaching the selected temperature.
How to save energy with the wine cellar?
Avoid opening the door too often, especially in hot and humid weather. Ensure good ventilation around the appliance. Set the thermostat to a higher temperature if possible (depending on the load). Always cool foods to room temperature before placing them.
Why does the door not close properly?
Check that no object obstructs the closure and that the hinges are properly aligned. Make sure the appliance is level. If the door gasket is dirty, clean it with a damp cloth.
How to turn the interior lighting on or off?
Press the lighting button (labeled 'light') to turn the interior LED lighting on or off.
Is it normal for the appliance to make noise?
A slight operating noise is normal, due to the fan and thermoelectric module. If the noise becomes loud or unusual, check that the appliance is level and that nothing is vibrating against it.
Where to install the wine cellar?
Place it on a smooth, level, and stable surface, away from any heat source and moisture. Ensure at least 5 cm of space on the sides and 10 cm at the rear for ventilation. Avoid direct sunlight.
What to do in case of a power outage?
When power returns, the wine cellar resumes operation automatically. If the internal temperature has risen too much, let the appliance run empty for about an hour before placing bottles back.
