For Android, enter the Wi-Fi access data in the app. Once connected, the appliance will appear in the application.

What are the available cooking modes on the H 6800 BMX?

The oven offers 11 cooking modes, including: fan forced, bottom heat, grill, fan grill, intensive fan forced, gentle cooking, keep warm, defrost, pyrolysis, and two automatic modes. You can select the mode via the touch screen.

How to use the pyrolysis function for cleaning?

Pyrolysis heats the oven to about 480°C to burn off food residues. Make sure to remove any removable accessories. Select the pyrolysis program in the menu, choose the duration (2h, 2h30 or 3h), then start. The door locks automatically. After cooling, wipe away the ashes with a damp cloth.

What is the interior capacity of the oven?

Via the touch screen, go to the 'Settings' menu, then 'Time'. You can set the time manually or synchronize it automatically via Wi-Fi. The timer is set by pressing the clock icon. Enter the desired duration (up to 99 minutes). An audible alarm will sound at the end.

What to do if the oven does not heat properly?

First check that the oven is properly plugged in and the circuit breaker has not tripped. Make sure the door is fully closed. If the problem persists, reset the oven by unplugging it for 1 minute. Contact Miele service if the malfunction continues.

To use the Miele@mobile app or Miele@home features such as SuperVision or time synchronisation, your Miele household appliance must be connected to your WiFi network.

In these instructions you learn how to connect the following Miele appliances to a WiFi network using a smartphone or tablet (iOS® and Android™ systems):

• Ovens and microwave combination ovens (H 65xx/66xx BM/B/BP, H 6760 BP, H 68xx BM/BMX/B/BP/BPX)
• Steam ovens, steam ovens with microwave and steam combination ovens (DG/DGM/DGC 6500/66x0/68xx, DGC 67xx, DGC 68x0X)
• Coffee machines (CVA6800, CVA6805)

If you have the necessary expertise, it is also possible to configure the WiFi network for your Miele appliance via the sub menu "Miele@home", however, we recommend connecting via the app.

Do not change the settings in the sub menu "Miele@home". You may no longer be able to connect your appliance to the WiFi network. If you have any questions, call Miele After-Sales Service.

Make sure that the signal of your WiFi network is sufficiently strong in the place where you want to set up your appliance.

The XKM 3100 W module must be fitted.

To connect via the app you will need:

• a smartphone or tablet with installed Miele@mobile app
• the name of your local WiFi network and its password
• the serial number of your Miele appliance (you find it on the data plate; see the appliance's operating instructions)

Download the Miele@mobile app

The operating system of your mobile device (smartphone/tablet) needs to be at least iOS 8® or Android 4.4™.

You can download the appropriate Miele@mobile app for the WiFi module for free from the respective app stores.

Search in App Store® or Google Play™ for the app Miele@mobile.

• Download the app to your mobile device.
  Start the Miele@mobile app and set up a Miele user account.

If you already have a Miele user account, you can use these details to log on to the app.

The logon process depends on the operating system of your smartphone or tablet.

Integrating a household appliance via an iOS mobile device

You have logged on to your user account in the Miele@mobile app and your smartphone or tablet is using the WiFi network to which the household appliance is to be connected.

• Select "Start appliance sign on" in the app.

Select "Add new Miele appliance".
- Select "Carry out WiFi connection via app".
Fit the WiFi module to your household appliance and switch it on.

The communication module now sends a WiFi signal that is compatible with the appliance.

• Go to Settings on your iPhone®/iPad® and open the WiFi settings.
  Select the network which starts with "Miele@home-".
  Enter the serial number of your household appliance as password leaving out the first "0".

You can find the serial number on the data plate. Note that the first digit you enter must not be "0". Start with the following digit. If your serial number is for example "023423585" your password will be "23423585".

If a tick is shown before the selected "Miele@home-XXXX-X", your iPhone/ iPad has connected successfully to your household appliance.

• Switch to the Miele@mobile app and select "Continue".
• Select your WiFi network and enter its password. Select "Continue".

Your household appliance has now been connected to your home WiFi network.

Then reconnect your smartphone or tablet to the home WiFi network.

• Go to Settings on your iPhone/iPad and select the WiFi network.
  The house WiFi network might already be selected.
• Switch back to the Miele@mobile app again and select "Continue".
  After a moment your household appliance will appear in the Miele@mobile app.
• Select "Start Miele@mobile" to use the features of the Miele@mobile app for your household appliance.
