Operating the appliance Switching the appliance on and off The continuous-flow heater switches on and heats the water when the warm water tap is opened. It switches off again if the water tap is closed. The factory default setting for the warm water outflow tem- perature is 55 °C. Note: The electronic control unit senses the input water’s temperature and rate of flow and automatically adjusts the power consumption in order to obtain the set output water temperature (up to the power limit). Increasing the water temperature If the supply water temperature is low and the flow-rate is high, then it may happen that the set output water tempera- ture is not obtained because the power limit is exceeded. This is signalled by rapid flashing of the status display. ■ If this happens, then slightly close the warm water tap.
