NoTE How To USE Make sure that all packaging materials are removed.• Before first time use, clean the appliance as described • under CLEANING AND CARE. Use the appliance on a dry, level surface only.• Fill the measuring cup with water according to the number of eggs and degree of hardness required. Number of eggs: Degree of hardness:
Remove the lid and egg tray and pour the water onto the boiling plate. Prick each egg (to prevent bursting). Place the egg tray onto the stand.
Switch on (I).The power indicator lights up and the water is heated up.Place the eggs in the egg tray.Use the handle! Run eggs under cold water.Plug the appliance in.Switch off (0) and unplug.Be careful of steam emitted from the steam vent.Fit the lid.
Once all water has evaporated, the appliance stops automati-cally, a buzzer sounds and the power indicator goes out.14
DESCALING To remove excessive scale deposits: Ensure the appliance is switched off and unplugged.• Prepare a solution of 1 part vinegar to 10 parts of • water. Pour the solution onto the boiling plate.• Allow to stand for 30 minutes.• Pour the solution away.• Wipe boiling plate with a damp cloth.• CLEANING Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and allow it to • cool down completely.
