How to clean the egg cooker?

Unplug and let it cool down. The egg tray, measuring cup and lid can be cleaned with hot water and dish soap. The base and heating plate can be wiped with a damp cloth. Never immerse the appliance in water.

How to descale the appliance?

Turn off and unplug. Prepare a solution of 1 part vinegar to 10 parts water. Pour onto the heating plate, let it sit for 30 minutes, discard the solution and wipe with a damp cloth.

What to do if the eggs crack during cooking?

Place the egg tray onto the stand.

Prick each egg (to prevent bursting).

Fit the lid.

Plug the appliance in.

The power indicator lights up and the water is heated up.

Be careful of steam emitted from the steam vent.

Once all water has evaporated, the appliance stops automatically, a buzzer sounds and the power indicator goes out.

Use the handle! Run eggs under cold water.

DESCALING

To remove excessive scale deposits:
Ensure the appliance is switched off and unplugged.
Prepare a solution of 1 part vinegar to 10 parts of water.
Pour the solution onto the boiling plate.
Allow to stand for 30 minutes.
Pour the solution away.
Wipe boiling plate with a damp cloth.

CLEANING

Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down completely.
