How do I fill the water tank?

Remove the tank, turn it over and unscrew the cap. Fill with clean cold water. Never pour hot water or pour directly into the base. Re-screw the cap and place the tank back on the base.

What if the humidifier does not turn on?

Check that the device is properly plugged into a power outlet via the supplied adapter. Make sure the tank is correctly positioned.

How do I turn on the night light?

Press the power button once to turn on the humidifier. Press a second time to activate the blue LED night light. A third time turns off the device.

Why does the device turn off by itself?

The humidifier is equipped with an automatic shut-off when the tank is empty. A red indicator light then comes on. Fill the tank with cold water to restart the device.

How do I clean and descale the humidifier?

Turn off and unplug the device. Empty the tank and base, wipe them with a dry cloth. For descaling, pour white vinegar into the base, let it sit for 15 minutes, then scrub the transducer with the supplied brush. Rinse thoroughly.

Can I use essential oils?

The manual does not mention the use of essential oils. It is not recommended to add them as this could damage the device or promote bacterial growth.

What is the power consumption?

The humidifier consumes 12 W and operates at 24 V DC supplied by a power adapter (input 100-240 V~ 50/60 Hz).

How far from the wall should I place the humidifier?

Place the device on a flat surface, at least 10 cm from walls to avoid moisture buildup and condensation.

How to resolve a strange odor?

If the device is new, leave the tank open in a cool place. If the odor persists, clean the tank with water and a mild detergent, then rinse thoroughly with tap water.

USER MANUAL HUM09 PROLINE

This appliance is intended for domestic household use only and should not be used for any other purpose or in any other application, such as for non-domestic use or in a commercial environment.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. The external flexible cable of the transformer cannot be replaced, if the cord of this transformer is damaged, it is necessary to dispose the transformer and replaced by a transformer of the same model.

The appliance is only to be used with the power supply unit provided with the appliance.

The appliance must only be supplied at safety extra low voltage corresponding to the marking on the appliance.

Unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Do not tilt or attempt to move the humidifier while it is operating or filled with water. UNPLUG the humidifier before moving.

• Do not place the humidifier directly on wood furniture or other surfaces that could be damaged by water.

• Do not operate the humidifier without water.

• In case that the humidifier is used in a closed or small room, check periodically for proper ventilation, as excessive humidity could cause condensation on walls or furniture.

• In case that the moisture is noticed on the inside of windows, please turn the humidifier OFF.

• Do not use detergent to clean any part of the humidifier.

• Do not refill the humidifier without first unplugging it from the mains socket. Failure to do this may cause personal injury.

• Do not place anything over mist outlet when the humidifier is operating.

• Do not allow the mist outlet to directly face the wall. Mist could cause damage, particularly to wallpaper.

OPERATION

The humidifier is designed to continuously produce cold mist for a maximum of 10 hours.

1. Place the humidifier on a firm, flat surface, about 10 ~cm away from the wall.

2. Remove the water tank.

3. Always make sure that the appliance is turned off and unplugged from the mains socket before removing and filling the water tank.

4. Turn the water tank upside down and unscrew the

water tank cap.

1. Fill the water tank with cold fresh water.
   DO NOT fill with warm water as this may cause leaking.
2. WARNING! DO NOT pour water directly into the base as water may enter the air vent which will cause damage to the appliance.

1. Turn the water tank over and place on the base, making sure it fits in place.

2. Connect the power adapter to the humidifier and then plug the power adapter into the wall socket.

3. Turn on the humidifier by pressing

• The appliance will start producing cold mist.

1. To activate the nightlight function, press again. The blue light will illuminate.

2. Press a third time to turn off the humidifier. The humidifier will stop producing mist and daylight function is deactivated.

Auto shut-off

When the humidifier runs out of water, the red indicator

light on the button will illuminate and the mist output will stop.

• Refill the water tank with cold fresh water following the instructions above. The red indicator light will go out.
• DO NOT fill the water tank with water from the mist outlet.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning, turn off and unplug the humidifier from the mains socket.

To maintain the performance of the humidifier, it is important to clean it on a regular basis.

Important:

DO NOT leave water in the water tank or the base when the appliance is not in use as it may result in the build-up of mineral deposits and bacteria.

It is recommended to you perform water changes at least once a week.

Empty the water tank and the humidifier base. Wipe and dry with a clean, dry cloth or paper towel.

Replace the water tank.

Do not immerse the base in water.

Never use any abrasive or chemical cleaning agents.

Descaling

Fill the base with white vinegar. Let it stand for 15 minutes and then empty. Wipe off the scale and clean the transducer in the base with the supplied cleaning brush.

NOTE: Never allow water or any other liquid to enter the air vent of the base.

Storage

Make sure the humidifier is dried completely before storing. Store in a cool dry place.

TROUBLESHOOTING
