USER MANUAL BL4007 TRISTAR
General This mincer allows you to chop all sorts of foodstuffs to the correct size pieces. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Read the user’s instructions carefully and keep these in a safe place.
- The machine must only be used as described in this manual.14
- Never leave the machine alone while it is switched on.
- Keep the machine out of the reach of children.
- Repairs must be carried out by a qualified mechanic.
- Before using the machine check that the mains voltage is the same as stated on the type plate.
- Only connect the mincer to an earthed socket.
- Regularly check that there is no damage to the wire. Do not use the machine if it or the wire is damaged. Have a damaged wire replaced by a qualified technician.
- When pulling the plug out of the socket hold the plug and do not pull on the wire.
- Make sure that the wire does not come in contact with hot surfaces or steam.
- Make sure that the wire does not hang over the edge of a table or working top or on the floor.
- Always pull the plug out of the socket before you move the mincer and when it is not in use.
- Do not use the machine in the direct vicinity of heat sources (such as a cooker or hot oven). WARNING

- The cutter is very sharp. Be careful not to injure yourself with it.English
- Never immerse the motor unit or the wire in water or any other liquid. This could cause an electric shock.
- Do not use any aggressive or scouring cleansers or sharp objects (such as knives or hard brushes) when cleaning. Do nut use the mincer continuously longer than 30 seconds; leave it to cooldown for 2 minutes before re-operate during 30 seconds. Use

- Place the mincer on a flat, stable surface where it cannot fall into the sink.
- Do not use any cutters, beakers or lids from other types of mincers.
- Do not fill the mincer beaker until the cutter has been put in place otherwise the cutter will not fit in easily and the mincer will not work properly.
- Only put soft ingredients in the mincer beaker (no sand, grit, nutshells or similar). See the table of ingredients for examples of ingredients that can be used.
- Make sure that the mincer beaker, the lid and the motor unit are properly fitted together before switching on the mincer. Wait until the cutter has completely stopped and pull the plug out of the socket before opening the mincer.
- Make sure your hands are dry before switching on the mincer.
- The mincer switches off automatically when the on/off button is released.
- Empty the beaker after use and clean out any food remains.
- Never immerse the motor unit or the wire in water or any other liquid.
- Do not pick up the machine if it should fall in water. Pull the plug out of the socket, switch the machine off and do not use it again.
- The mincer is only intended for household purposes and is not suitable for professional use.15 Safety measures on the machine
- The mincer will only work if the lid and/or the motor unit are correctly placed on the machine. Once this is done nothing else can be added so that no injury or damage can be caused.
OPERATING Before using for the first time Clean the various parts of the mincer with washing-up liquid and a damp cloth as described in the section "Cleaning". Using the mincer
1. Put the cutter into the knife holder in the mincer beaker.
2. Fill the mincer beaker with the ingredients you have chosen. Do not overfill the
beaker. The ingredients must not come above the notch on the cutter.
3. Put the lid on the beaker and turn it until it is firmly fixed and you cannot turn it
4. Put the motor unit onto the lid and turn it until it is firmly fixed and you cannot turn
it any further. The axle of the cutter will then fit properly into the axle of the motor unit.
5. Put the plug in the socket.
6. Press the on/off button to start the mincer. The mincer will now mince up the
ingredients. As soon as they are fine enough release the button.
7. Wait until the cutter has stopped completely and pull the plug out of the socket.
8. Take the motor unit and the lid off the mincer. Remove the cutter.
9. After you have taken the ingredients out of the mincer beaker clean it as
described in the section "Cleaning".
3 CLEANING Clean the mincer as described below:
1. Pull the plug out of the socket before you start to clean the mincer.
2. Clean the motor unit and wire with a damp cloth.
3. The other parts can be rinsed under running water and washed normally in a

- The producer provides a 2-year warranty for all defects caused by hidden deficiencies which render the appliance useless for normal operation.
- The warranty runs from the date of purchase; we advise you to carefully save your receipt.
- Within the warranty period any defects in production or material will be resolved free of charge, by means of reparation, replacement of parts or replacement of the appliance as a whole.
- The warranty certificate has to be filled in by the salesperson at the moment of purchase.
- Repairs will only be made under warranty in case it can be proven (by means of a filled in warranty card and the receipt) that the day the complaint is filed falls into the warranty period.
- The warranty does not apply when defects or damages result from an accident, misuse, negligence (e.g. incorrect cleansing), or when repairs of alterations have been executed outside the authorized technician. (excl. disassembling, as stated in the instruction manual).
- The warranty does not cover any defects arising when the appliance is connected to the wrong outlet voltage, not following the guidelines in the instruction manual and usual wear and tear.
- The supplier cannot be held responsible for any material damage or personal accident resulting from connecting the appliance in breach of the locally applicable safety regulations and technical standards (for instance an inferior AC outlet). The warranty under no circumstances grants the right for any compensation.
- All other claims, including damages, are excluded unless the Law states otherwise.17
