How to configure the EM4630 router for the first time?

Connect the Ethernet cable to the WAN port, then connect it to the hotel's Internet outlet or modem. Turn on the device, wait 30 seconds, then connect to the WiFi 'TravelWiFi-XXXX' with the default password 12345678.

What is the default WiFi password of the router?

The default password is 12345678. It is highly recommended to change it after the first connection to secure your network.

How to access the router's configuration interface?

Open a web browser and enter the address 192.168.16.254 in the address bar. You will then be able to modify settings, including the WiFi password.

How to secure my WiFi network on the Eminent EM4630 router?

Log in to the interface via 192.168.16.254, then modify the 'Pass Phrase' (WiFi password). Choose a strong password and enable WPA2 encryption.

Can I use this router to repeat an existing WiFi signal?

Note: The EM4630 has no built-in converter. Only use devices that are compatible with the voltages of the country you are staying. For example 110V devices do not work on a 230V power socket. Some devices do support a voltage range from 100-240V.

The devices are protected by a built-in fuse of 6A. The fuse is not exchangeable. Once it's blown the device can no longer be used. A blown fuse will void the warranty.

EN 3.0 Installation

1. Connect the Ethernet cable (not supplied) to the WAN port
2. Connect the other end of the cable to the internet port of the hotel room (or modem/Router)
3. Plugin the Travel router in the power socket and wait for about 30 seconds
4. Choose the WiFi network: default SSID: TravelWiFi-XXXX and connect (default password: 12345678)
5. You are now connected to the internet
