What is the maximum power of the Bestron AFH101 heater?

The maximum power is 2000 W in very hot air mode. It also has a warm air mode at 1000 W and a cold air mode without heating.

How to set the desired temperature?

Turn the temperature control knob fully to the right to heat to maximum. When the room reaches the desired temperature, turn the knob in the opposite direction until you hear a click. The thermostat will then automatically maintain that temperature.

Can I use this appliance in a bathroom?

No, the appliance is designed for domestic use and must never be used in a damp room or outdoors. Make sure your hands are dry before touching it.

What to do if the appliance does not turn on?

Check that the plug is properly connected and that the function selector is not in position 0 (off). Also ensure that the thermostat is not set too low. If the problem persists, contact Bestron's after-sales service.

How to clean the heater?

Unplug the appliance and let it cool down. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth and wipe with a soft dry cloth. Never use harsh detergents, sharp objects, and never immerse the appliance in water.

Can the appliance be used as a simple fan?

Yes, set the function selector to the fan symbol (position marked with a fan icon, usually the middle position). The appliance will blow cold air.

What is the warranty period?

Bestron offers a warranty of 60 months (5 years) from the date of purchase, covering defects in parts and labor. Keep your proof of purchase.

Can I use an extension cord?

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - General

• Please read these instructions carefully, and retain them for future reference.
• Use this appliance solely in accordance with these instructions.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Have any repairs carried out solely by a qualified electrician. Never try to repair the appliance yourself.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - Electricity and heat

BEFORE FIRST USE

Remove the fan heater from the packaging and remove all the packaging materials.

USE

1. Place the fan heater on a stable surface and ensure that the grilles for the supply and removal of the air are unobstructed.
2. Insert the plug into the plug socket.
3. Use the function button to select one of the following functions:

0	Off
	Cold air
I	Warm air (1000 Watt)
II	Hot air (2000 Watt)

When the function button is set to "0", the appliance is turned off. In the other settings, the appliance is turned on and the On/Off indicator light will be lit.

1. Rotate the thermostat dial clockwise. A click will be heard to indicate that the appliance has been turned on. The temperature is adjusted by turning the thermostat dial clockwise further.

To find the ideal thermostat setting, rotate the thermostat dial clockwise as far as possible. Once the room has reached the desired temperature, slowly rotate the dial anticlockwise until a click is heard. The appliance will then turn itself off. The temperature control will ensure that the room remains at the set temperature.

Please do not cover the appliance.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Remove the plug from the wall socket and allow the appliance to cool.
2. Clean the exterior of the housing with a damp cloth and rub it dry with a clean cloth.
   • Never immerse the appliance, plug or power cord in water.

- Never use corrosive or scouring cleaning agents or sharp objects (such as knives or hard brushes) to clean the appliance.

GUARANTEE TERMS

The importer guarantees the appliance against defects caused by manufacturing and/or material faults for 60 months from the date of purchase, subject to the following conditions.

1. No charges will be made for labour costs or materials during the warranty period. Any repairs carried out during the warranty period do not extend the warranty period.
2. The importer automatically becomes the owner of any faulty parts that he replaces or a faulty appliance (in the event of replacement of the appliance).
3. All claims submitted under warranty must be accompanied by the original bill of sale.
4. Claims under warranty must be submitted to the dealer where the appliance was purchased or to the importer.
5. The warranty is issued solely to the first purchaser and cannot be transferred.
6. The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

a. Accidents, incorrect use, wear and/or neglect.
b. Faulty installation and/or use in a manner contravening the prevailing legal, technical or safety regulations
c. Connection to a mains voltage other than the voltage specified on the type plate.
d. Unauthorized modifications.
e. Repairs carried out by third parties.

f. Careless transport, i.e. without suitable packaging materials or protection.

1. No claims may be made under this warranty for:

a. Losses incurred during transport.
b. The removal or changing of the appliance's serial number.

1. The guarantee does not cover power cords, lamps or glass parts.
2. No claims can be submitted under this warranty for damage other than the repair or replacement of faulty parts. The importer can never be held responsible for any consequential loss or damage or any other consequences, resulting either directly or indirectly from the appliance supplied by the importer.
3. In case of claims under guarantee you can contact your dealer where the appliance is purchased.

Bestron offers you also the possibility to send the appliance directly to our Service Department. Do not send your appliance without consulting us. The package may be refused and any any costs will be for your account. Please contact the Service Department and they will tell you how to pack and send the appliance.
