CONDITIONS DE GARANTIE

This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures which are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The warranty will only be valid if the warranty application has been completed by the dealer at the time of purchase. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• Carefully read the instruction manual before use.
• Never immerse the motor unit, the power cord or the plug in water or other liquid.
• Remove the plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use, or when you are removing or cleaning components.
• Only suitable for indoor, household use.
• Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of the table or to come in contact with hot surfaces, such as heaters, etc.
• The blades on the underside of the blending attachments are razor sharp, be careful during blending and cleaning. Incorrect use could lead to injuries.
• Check that the voltage in your house matches the voltage indicated on the appliance.
• Do not put the plug in the socket if the unit is not fully assembled.
• Do not put the blender into boiling liquid. Allow soup to cool for a while before blending it, for example.
• Use the appliance in short bursts. Never operate for longer than 1 minute uninterrupted. Never blend hard ingredients for longer than 10 seconds uninterrupted.

USE

There are four types of blades for use on one blender attachment, which you can swap over yourself using the tool. Always remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the appliance. The other blender attachment has a permanent blade.

Grinding blade. Grinds, chops and powders raw and cooked vegetables, fruit, berries, jelly, cooked meat and frozen fruit. Can also be used to make fruit ice cream or sorbets.

Mixer blade. Blends and mixes milkshakes, drinks, ready-to-eat soups and sauces, omelettes and pancake batter. For smooth mayonnaise and cream soups.

The whipping blade. Ideal for whipping eggwhite, cream, pudding, skimmed milk, mousse and biscuit dough. Handy for pureeing soup and sauces.

Chopping blade. Chops and reduces meat and hard vegetables.

You swap the blades over using the tool provided. Insert the tool through one of the openings at the side, until it slides under the blade. Then lift the blade up carefully.

Now attach another blade (be careful, the blades are sharp!) by pushing the opening on the blade over the toothed spindle.

Your handheld blender is perfect for making sauces, dips, soups, mayonnaise, milkshakes and baby food.

1. Attach the blender attachment to the main body, until it locks in place.

2. To remove the blender attachment, press the buttons on both sides to release it.Do not hold by the blades!

Please note! Never operate the blender for longer than 1 minute uninterrupted. Please note! Never use the blender in an empty bowl or measuring jug.

1. Always place the blender vertically in the bowl or measuring jug holding the ingredients (not at an angle).

HOW TO USE THE WHISK ATTACHMENT

Only use the whisk attachment for whipping cream, eggwhite and ready-to-eat desserts.

1. Push the whisk attachment into the whisk attachment holder.

2. Now push the whisk attachment holder onto the motor unit, until it clicks.

3. Place the whisk attachment in a measuring jug or bowl and select the appropriate speed. Press the switch for 'variablespeed' or 'turbo'. Please note! Never use the whisk attachment uninterrupted for more than 2 minutes.

1. After use, remove the whisk attachment holder from the motor unit, and only then remove the whisk attachment from the holder. Please note! Never use the handheld blender in an empty bowl or measuring jug.

SPEED ADJUSTMENT

While pressing the variable speed switch (2) you can use the variable speed control (1) to set the desired speed.

CLEANING

Remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the

appliance. Clean the main body with a damp cloth. NEVER immerse the motor unit in water!

The blender attachment can be washed in hot water. Take care that you do not cut yourself on the blades.

RECIPIES

Préparé americain. Chop with the chopper 200 grams of beef. Make a sauce of onion, egg yolk, chopped parsley, harissa, a tablespoon of mayonnaise, mustard, pickles, Worcestershire sauce and salt & pepper. Add the ground meat and mix it gently under the sauce.

Preparing meringue is made easy with the beater. Beat four egg whites together with 200 grams powdered sugar to a stiff mixture. Spray it on a baking sheet and cook in the oven at 100^ for 1.5 hours.

Aioli tastes even more delicious with the mixer. Mix first 4 to 8 cloves of garlic with

some salt and half a tablespoon of lemon juice. Beat 2 egg yolks and add 3.5dl olive oil and a tablespoon of water.

Homemade pesto made in a blink with the universal grinder. Grind 4 tablespoons (short roasted) pine nuts with 4 tablespoons of parmesan cheese, 4 cloves of garlic and 150 - 200gr of fresh basil. Gradually add 1.5dl olive oil and season with salt and lemon juice.
