- The appliance may be used by children who are at least 8 years old, by persons with reduced physical, sensorial or mental abilities or persons lacking experience only if they have received prior instructions concerning its safe use and if they are informed about the dangers associated with this product. Children may not play with the appliance. The appliance cannot be cleaned or serviced by children without adult supervision.
- If the appliance is used in the bathroom, remove the plug from the socket after use, as bringing it close to water is dangerous even if the appliance is switched o.
- To ensure optimal protection, you are advised to install a dierential current protective device in the bathroom the nominal dierential current of which should not exceed 30mA (ideally, 10mA). Ask the installation technician for advice.

- After having removed the appliance from its packaging, verify its integrity based on the drawing and check for any damage caused during transport. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and contact the authorised service centre.
- Do not let children play with the packaging! Keep the plastic wrapping out of the reach of children; risk of suocation!
- Before connecting the appliance, check that the mains voltage data reported on the identication plate corresponds to that of the available electric mains. The identication plate is attached to the appliance.
- This appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it was designed, namely as a hair brush for home use. Any other use is improper and potentially dangerous. DO NOT use the appliance with wet hands, damp feet or barefoot. DO NOT pull the power cord or the appliance itself to remove the plug from the socket. DO NOT expose the appliance to humidity or weather conditions (rain, sun, etc.).
- Always disconnect the appliance from the mains before cleaning or performing maintenance and when the appliance is not in use.
- In case of a fault or malfunctioning of the appliance, switch it o and do not tamper with it. If the appliance needs to be repaired, contact an authorised technical service centre.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an authorised technical service centre, so as to prevent all risks.
- The appliance must only be used on human hair. Do not use the appliance on animals or on wigs made of synthetic material.
- Use a dry cloth to clean the appliance.

For the appliance features, refer to the external packaging. To be used only with the accessories supplied. USEFUL ADVICE The quick understanding of the modes of use of the hair brush will allow establishing the exact application time for obtaining the desired eect.
- Ensure the hair is dry, clean and without any trace of hairspray, hair mousse or gel.
- Comb the hair ensuring there are no knots.
- Start straightening from the nape of the neck, proceed on the sides and nish on the forehead.
- During use, when the brush heats and cools, position the appliance on a smooth and heat resistant surface.
- While straightening, be careful not to near the brush too much to the sensitive parts of the face, ears, neck or head.
MI001123.indd 4 21/02/13 22.57• Leave the brush cool down completely when nished, before putting it away. ATTENTION! After having nished using the hair brush, ensure it has completely cooled down before putting it away. Never wrap the power supply cord around the appliance. USE
- Wash hair as normal and comb removing knots.
- Dry the hair and brush from the roots to the ends. USER INSTRUCTIONS
- Connect the plug (1) to the mains.
- Press the 0/1/ion button to turn the brush on: the brush is on when the button is in position 1 and the button LED lights up (4); the brush is on together with the ionizer when the button is in position 2 and the relative LED lights up (6).
- Wait a few minutes for maximum performance and the desired style to be achieved.
- Take a lock of hair, the same width of the barrel of the brush (7), wrap it around and keep it in place for a few moments.

- Once the hair is styled, switch o the appliance from the button (3) and disconnect the brush from the socket. Note: It is possible that steam is emitted while the brush is used; this is excess humidity in the hair that evaporates.
MI001123.indd 5 21/02/13 22.57IONIZER The brush has an ionizer - a device that reproduces ionization, which adds shine and brightness to the hair. The “static hair” eect is also reduced. CLEANING
- Switch o the appliance by pressing the button (3) and disconnect the plug (2) from the socket.
- Wait for the metal barrel (7) to be cold.
- Clean the surface of the brush with a soft damp cloth. Before re-using the appliance, make sure all cleaned parts are completely dry! DISPOSAL The product is packaged in recyclable materials. Dispose of these in an appropriate environmentally friendly manner. Pursuant to European Standard 2002/96/EC, the appliance must be disposed of at the end of its life span in a compliant manner. This regards recycling useful substances in the appliance, which reduces the environmental impact. For further information, contact the local disposal body or the appliance dealer.
