DESCRIPTION
This manual is an integral part of the appliance and must be carefully read before using it as it gives important indications with regard to safety of installation, use and maintenance. Keep it with care.
- After taking off the packing make sure that the appliance is intact. In case of doubt do not use it and contact an assistance centre authorised by TERMOZETA.
- Do not leave pieces of packing (plastic bags, polystyrene foam, nails etc.) within reach of children or persons with reduced mental capacities, since these are potential sources of danger.
- The electrical safety of this appliance is ensured only if it is correctly connected to an effective earthing system in compliance with the existing electrical safety standards. TERMOZETA shall not be held responsible for any damage caused by the lack of an earthing system.
- Before connecting the plug to the outlet check that the working voltage of the appliance corresponds to the one in your house. If in doubt, contact professionally qualified staff.
- Use of adaptors, multiple outlets and extension leads is not advisable. In case of necessity use exclusively approved devices in conformity with the current safety regulations while making sure that they are compatible with the appliance power. If in doubt, contact professionally qualified staff.
- Any installation which doesn't comply with what is specified can endanger your safety and the warranty expires.
- The appliance was exclusively designed to prepare milk drinks in a domestic environment.

For safety reasons pay attention and:

do not use the appliance when you are barefoot or having wet hands or feet
- do not use the appliance outside the domestic environment
- do not leave the appliance exposed to atmospheric agents (sun, rain...)

never pull the power cord or the appliance itself in order to disconnect the plug from the outlet
-
do not leave the appliance unattended when it is plugged into the main power supply
-
never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids
-
The appliance is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensorial or mental capacities or without experience or knowledge, unless there is someone controlling them or unless they have the use instructions.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- The power cord of the appliance should never be replaced by the user himself. In case of necessity contact an assistance centre authorised by TERMOZETA or professionally qualified staff.
- In case of failure and/or malfunctioning of the appliance, turn it off and do not tamper with it. For any repairs contact an assistance centre authorised by TERMOZETA and ask for the use of original spare parts.
- At the end of the life-cycle of the appliance, put it out of service by cutting the power cord after disconnecting the plug from the outlet. For the disposal of the appliance follow the regulations which are valid in your place of residence.
- TERMOZETA cannot be considered responsible for any damage to persons, animals or things caused by the incorrect installation or as a result of an illegitimate, mistaken or unreasonable use.
IMPORTANT
- Never put the appliance on or near heating sources such as: radiators, cooking plates, gas cookers, etc.
- Never immerse the appliance in water; never put it in the dishwasher.
- During use, the pot surfaces become very hot. Dot not touch them to avoid scalds caused by hot milk.
- Always disconnect the appliance plug from the power outlet at the end of use.
USEINSTRUCTIONS
FIRSTUSE
Before using the appliance for the first time, do as follows:
-
Wash blenders (2), (3) and (4) with plenty of water and dishwashing detergent if necessary.

Fill pot (8) with water up to the maximum level for hot milk MAX -
- Fit the hot milk blender (3).
- Press the ON/OFF push button (11) twice to carry out an operation cycle with water in order to remove any manufacturing residues from the internal part of pot (8). Then dry the appliance carefully.
STARTING UP
To start the appliance, do as follows:
- Remove lid (1) from pot (8) (fig.1).
SUGGESTION: Use fresh milk, UHT milk, full cream or semi-skimmed freshly opened milk.

PREPARED THE HOT MILK FROTH
- Fit blender (2) or (4) according to the froth density you prefer. With the black blender (4) you will obtain a dense milk froth, while with the white blender (2) you will obtain a medium density froth (fig.2).



- Pour the milk quantity desired up to the indication inside pot (8) (fig.3).
- Put lid (1) back on pot (8) (fig.4).
- Plug the appliance into the socket (fig.5): the red pilot light (10) turns on showing that the appliance is connected to the power supply (fig.6).
- To start preparing the milk froth, press the ON/OFF push button (11) ONCE (fig.7).
After few seconds, the green pilot light (9) turns on steadily showing that the milk froth is being prepared (fig.8). Tha appliance stops automatically. - The appliance preparing the milk froth can be stopped at any moment by pressing the ON/OFF push button (11).
PREPARED THE COLD MILK FROTH
- Fit blender (2) or (4) according to the froth density you prefer. With the black blender (4) you will obtain a dense milk froth, while with the
white blender (2) you will obtain a medium density froth (fig.2).
- Pour the milk quantity desired up to the indication inside pot (8) (fig.3).
- Put lid (1) back on pot (8) (fig.4).
- Plug the appliance into the socket (fig.5): the red pilot light (10) turns on showing that the appliance is connected to the power supply (fig.6).






- To start preparing the milk froth, press the ON/OFF push button (11) THREE TIMES (fig.7).
- After few seconds, the green pilot light (9) begins flashing showing that the cold milk froth is being prepared (fig.8). Tha appliance stops automatically.
- The appliance preparing the milk froth can be stopped at any moment by pressing the ON/OFF push button (11).
PREPARING THE HOT MILK

- Fit blender (3) (fig.2).
- Pour the milk quantity desired up to the indication inside pot (8) (fig.3).
- Put lid (1) back on pot (8) (fig.4).
- Plug the appliance into the socket (fig.5): the red pilot light (10) turns on showing that the appliance is connected to the power supply (fig.6).
- To start preparing the hot milk, press the ON/OFF push button (11) TWICE (fig.7).
- After few seconds, the green pilot light (9) turns on showing that the milk is being heated (fig.8). Tha appliance stops automatically.
- The appliance preparing the hot milk can be stopped at any moment by pressing the ON/OFF push button (11).

WARNING!
The appliance can carry out three consecutive preparations at maximum. After that, it is programmed for a stand-by period of five minutes in order to allow the electric and electronic components to completely cool off, thus avoiding any superheating problem.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

WARNING!
Before carrying out any cleaning operations, disconnect the plug from the power outlet and wait until the appliance has cooled off.
SUGGESTIONS: The appliance cleaning will be easier if it is carried out immediately after use.
Fit the hot milk blender (3).
Fill pot (8) with water up to the maximum level for hot milk MAX - Press the ON/OFF push button (11) twice.
The appliance starts working: it heats and mixes the water in such a way to remove any milk residues from the pot.
At the end of this operation, empty the pot and remove the remaining residues with a soft sponge to avoid the pot teflon coating to be damaged.
Wash blenders (2), (3) and (4) and lid (1) with hot water and dishwashing detergent. Never wash these parts of the appliance in the dishwasher.
To clean the appliance body, use a damp sponge only.
IMPORTANT!
- Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquid substances and never put it under running water.
- Never use abrasive or chemical products.
- Make sure the appliance is completely dry before putting it away.

RECIPES

CAPPUCCINO
Fill with hot milk froth a cappuccino cup and add an espresso. Add sugar and sprinkle with cocoa if desired.

HOT MILK WITH COFFEE
Take a tall glass, add hot milk and hot milk froth. Add a long coffee pouring it slowly inside the glass. Add sugar if desired.

MILK AND COFFEE
Prepare a long coffee and add hot milk in a tall glass. Add sugar if desired.

MAROCCHINO
Prepare a long coffee in a cup, add sugar and chocolate slivers. Cover with hot milk froth. Sprinkle with chocolate slivers, cinnamon or nutmeg as desired.

CHOCOLATE FLAVoured DRINK
Pour milk into the appliance, add a spoon of chocolate flavoured powder and prepare hot milk. Pour the drink into a tall glass and add sugar, if desired.

In accordance with European Directives 2002/95/CE, 2002/96/CE and 2003/108/CE on the restriction of the use of dangerous substances in electric and electronic equipment as well as their waste disposal.
- The barred symbol of the rubbish bin shown on the equipment indicates that, at the end of its useful life, the product must be collected separately from other waste.
- Therefore, any products that have reached the end of their useful life must be given to waste disposal centres specialising in separate collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment, or given back to the retailer at the time of purchasing new similar equipment, on a one for one basis.
- The adequate separate collection for the subsequent start-up of the equipment sent to be recycled, treated and disposed of in an environmentally compatible way contributes to preventing possible negative effects on the environment and health and optimises the recycling and reuse of components making up the apparatus.
- Abusive disposal of the product by the user involves application of the administrative sanctions according to the laws in force.
