Although there is correlation between emission and pollution values, they cannot be a reliable basis for deriving whether or not additional preventive measures are necessary. The factors that may influence the immediate pollution value in the place of work include the duration of effects, specific features of the place of work, other noise sources, e.g. number of appliances and other neighbouring processes. Reliable values in the place of work may also differ in various countries. However, this information is to help the user better estimate the risk and threat.

Operation
1. Pick Up Function
If you wish to use the unit for picking up, make sure that the collection bag is fitted on correctly. Then plug the unit in. Put the carry strap over your shoulder and adjust its length. Place the control lever in the position marked „Saugen" (suction). Place the suction tube in the working position in front of you so that it is on the transport wheel. When the collection bag is full, the suction capacity decreases. If that happens, switch the unit off and unplug it. Wait for the motor to come to stand still completely. Remove the bag according to description above. Open and empty it. The contents may be composted, if required. Clean the interior of the suction attachment. Close the bag again and fit it in place securely
CAUTION: The unit should be switched off before operating the control lever to change suction over to blowing.
2. Blo wing Function
If you want to make use of the blowing function of the unit, make sure that the collection bag has been fitted as appropriate. Plug the unit in. Put the carry strap over your shoulder and adjust its length. Place the control lever in the position marked "Gebäse" (fan). Put the suction attachment in the working position in front of you. Move forward slowly, collect the leaves or blow it off any inaccessible places. While doing so, use sweeping movements. Blowing may be used to remove leaves from corners, fences, walls, tree stands or from below the cars. Mind the air stream
direction as it can move even heavy objects able to cause damage or injury. When the leaves are collected on a pile, you may switch over to suction, pick them up and shred them.
3. Com posting
The garden vac has a crusher disc to work leaves and other garden waste when the suction feature is employed.
Collected material is reduced at a ration of 10:1 while being crushed. The quantity gets less and the material may be composted. Make sure that the collected material is really fir for composting.
