How to turn the Optoma H190X projector on and off?

Plug in the power cord. Press the Power button (on/standby) on the projector or remote control. To turn off, press once, then confirm by pressing again. The projector cools for about 10 seconds before entering standby (red LED). Do not unplug during cooling.

How to install the projector on the ceiling?

Use an Optoma ceiling mount kit (or compatible). Attach the bracket to the ceiling with M4 screws (min. 10 mm length). Ensure at least 10 cm clearance between the projector and the ceiling. Orientation can be adjusted in the Settings > Projection menu (front, rear, ceiling top, rear top). Avoid heat sources.

How to clean the dust filter?

Turn off the projector and unplug it. Gently remove the filter (located on the side). Clean it with a vacuum cleaner or lukewarm soapy water, dry it completely before reinstalling. It is recommended to clean it every 3 months, more often in dusty environments.

How to replace the projector lamp?

Wait for the projector to cool for at least 30 minutes. Unplug the power cord. Open the lamp cover (screws), unscrew the module, lift the handle, remove the cable then the module. Insert the new module, screw it in, close the cover. Turn on the projector and reset the lamp counter via Settings > Lamp Settings > Lamp Reset.

What to do if the image is blurry or distorted?

Use the focus ring and zoom lever to adjust sharpness and size. If the image is tilted, use keystone correction (vertical) in the menu or via the remote control. Also check the projection distance (1 to 12 m).

The projector does not turn on, what should I check?

Check that the power cord is properly plugged in and that the outlet works. If the Power LED is solid red, the projector is in standby; press Power. If the LED blinks or the Lamp or Temperature LEDs are red, refer to the troubleshooting guide (overheating, lamp end of life, fan failure).

How to watch 3D content?

Connect a compatible 3D source (Blu-ray player, PC) via HDMI. Wear DLP Link 3D glasses. Press the 3D button on the remote and select the appropriate 3D mode (Auto, SBS, Top & Bottom, etc.). Adjust the 3D Format in the Display > 3D menu.

How to connect an external device (computer, console)?

Use an HDMI cable for digital quality, or a VGA cable for analog signal. Plug the cable into the corresponding input on the projector. Turn on the source, then press the Source button on the projector or remote to select the input (HDMI, VGA, Video).

How to adjust brightness and colors?

Press Menu, go to Display > Image Settings. You can adjust Brightness, Contrast, Sharpness, Color, Tint, Gamma, and Color Temperature. Use preset modes (Presentation, Bright, Cinema, Game, etc.) according to your content.

What are the remote control codes and how to assign user keys?

The remote uses IR codes (see manual pages 58-65). To assign the User 1/2/3 buttons, go to Settings > Remote Settings and choose a function (Test pattern, Brightness, Contrast, etc.). Numeric keys (0-9) can also be used as shortcuts.
