Can I connect two Boulder 50 in series?

Yes, you can connect up to three Boulder 50 panels in series to reach up to 150 W. Use the blue ring connector of the first panel into the input of the next. Beyond that, a combiner cable is required.

What devices can I charge directly with the Boulder 50?

The Boulder 50 is designed to charge Goal Zero Sherpa and Yeti power stations via the 8 mm cable. For USB devices (phones, lights), use the Nomad foldable panels instead.

How long does it take to recharge a Yeti 400 with the Boulder 50?

Can I install the Boulder 50 on my roof?

Yes, but the charging power will be reduced. Optimal orientation and angle facing the sun improve production even under overcast skies.

How to orient the Boulder 50 for optimal charging?

Use the built-in kickstand to tilt the panel toward the sun. Reorient it every few hours to follow the sun's path and maximize production.

Can I use the Boulder 50 with other brands of batteries?

The Boulder 50 is optimized for Goal Zero products (Yeti, Sherpa). For other brands, check voltage compatibility and possibly use a suitable charge controller.

Plug the 8mm blue ringed cable into the INPUT port on the Goal Zero Yeti or Sherpa and angle the Boulder 50 Solar Panel toward the sun with the attached kickstand. You'll get the best solar charging experience if you continue to reposition the solar panel throughout the day.

HOW TO CHAIN

To chain two or three Boulder Solar Panels together, plug the blue ringed connector from one panel into the input connector or input port of the next panel, using the charging cable from the final panel to connect to your Goal Zero Yeti or Sherpa.
