Safety Notice

It's safety first here at Smarter and the safety of our customers is of paramount importance. It is for that reason we ask you to read and adhere to the following notices as well as exercising caution when using any electrical appliance.

1. Before using the wifikettle please check whether the voltage you adopt complies with the rated voltage of the product.
2. Do not share the power socket with other electric appliances to avoid overcurrent.
3. If the power cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer.
4. Do not turn the wifikettle on when there is little or no water. This may affect the heating coil and reduce the product's life span.

5. Do not expose to fire, heat, rain or sun.

6. Please use the product on a flat surface.

7. Do not immerse the wifikettle into water as it will damage its components.
8. Do not let children use or play near the wifikettle. Boiling water and electricity can be very dangerous.
9. The wifikettle is compatible only with the wifikettle base.
10. Warning: Direct the spout away from any power supply.
11. Waming: Do not open the lid while the water is boiling.
12. Caution: Ensure that the wifikettle is switched off or on standby before removing it from its base.

13. When cleaning the appliance and reusing please ensure that the wifikettle and power supply plug is dry before use.

14. Do not overfill the wifikettle as boiling water may be ejected.

15. When the wifikettle is boiled be careful when handling, it will be very hot to touch. Only hold by the rubber/plastic handle.
16. The wifikettle is intended only to heat water.
17. This appliance is for household use only.
18. Do not place the wifikettle near the edge of surfaces during operation.
19. Ensure that the surface the wifikettle is placed upon is level, clean, free of water and other substances.

Cleaning and Maintenance

• Before cleaning the wifikettle please ensure that the power has been unplugged.

• Any dirt on the surface of the wifikettle can be wiped off by a damp cloth. Do not immerse the wifikettle into water or into any cleaning agents.

• The wifikettle is not dishwasher safe. Hand clean only.

• Descaling: to descale the wifikettle pour a descaling agent into the wifikettle, as you would water and leave for one hour or follow the cleaning agent instructions. Pour out the liquid and wipe clean. Refill with clean water, boil and then empty out the contents.

We would advise that the wifikettle should be descaled at least twice a year.
