SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - General
- Please read these instructions carefully and retain them for reference.
- Use this appliance solely in accordance with these instructions.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. - Have any repairs carried out solely by a qualified electrician. Never try to repair the appliance yourself.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - Electricity and heat
Before use, verify that the mains voltage is the same as that indicated on the type plate on the appliance.
Always remove the plug from the wall socket when the appliance is not in use.
Always remove the plug from the wall socket by pulling on the plug, not the power cord.
- Check the appliance's power cord regularly to make sure it is not damaged. Do not use the appliance if the power cord is damaged. A damaged cord must be replaced by a qualified electrician.
- Never use the appliance in the vicinity of flammable materials.
- Make sure that the appliance, the cord and the plug do not come in contact with sources of heat, such as a hot hob or naked flame.
- Make sure that the appliance, the power cord and plug do not come in contact with water.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - During use
- Never use the appliance outdoors.
- Never use the appliance in a humid room.
- Place the appliance on a flat, stable surface where it cannot fall.
- Never allow the power cord to hang over the edge of the draining board, worktop or table.
- Make sure that your hands are dry before touching the appliance, power cord or plug.
- Switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the wall socket in the event of a malfunction during use, and before cleaning the appliance, fitting or removing an accessory, or storing the appliance after use.
- Do not pick up the appliance if it falls into water. Remove the plug from the wall socket immediately. Do not use the appliance any more.
- Clean the appliance thoroughly after use (see "Cleaning and maintenance").
- Never immerse the appliance's motor unit, the plug or the power cord in water or another liquid.
- Do not use the appliance if any part is damaged.
This appliance may not be used through an external timer or by means of a remote control.
THE ENVIRONMENT

- Dispose of packaging material, such as plastic and boxes, in the appropriate waste containers.
- When this product reaches the end of its useful life do not dispose of it by putting it in a dustbin; hand it in at a collection point for the reuse of electrical and electronic equipment. Please refer to the symbols on the product, the user's instructions or the packaging.
- The materials can be re-used as indicated. Your help in the re-use, recycling or other means of making use of old electrical equipment will make an important contribution to the protection of the environment.
- Contact your municipality for the address of the appropriate collection point in your neighbourhood.
OPERATION - General
The appliance is intended only for domestic use, not for professional use.

OPERATION - Before use for the first time
- Take the appliance out of the packaging.
- Clean the appliance (see 'Cleaning and maintenance').
OPERATION - Use
Assembling using for the first time
- Make sure the plug has not been inserted into the wall socket.
- Place the filter holder on the motor unit. The spout points to the right if the On/Off switch is facing towards you.
- Place the microfilter in the middle of the filter holder. Push the microfilter downwards and click it into position on the motor unit.
- Place the lid on the filter holder.
- Lock the lid by moving the locking handle upwards and then clicking the handle into the recesses on both sides of the lid.
- Place the juice container under the spout. Fit the lid to prevent splashes.
- Place the pulp dish under the pulp removal opening.
Squeezing
- Set the On/Off switch to "0".
- Insert the plug into the wall socket and set the On/Off switch to "2" for hard fruit and vegetables (apples, carrots, etc.) or "1" for soft fruit and vegetables (citrus fruit, melons, etc.).
- Use the pusher to slowly push the fruit or vegetables through the filling opening. Whole, unpeeled apples, pears, carrots and other fruit and vegetables can be used. Remove thick skins, such as on citrus fruit, melons, kiwis or beetroot, before placing the fruit or vegetables in the appliance.
- Remove the juice container from the motor unit.
- Pour the juice into a glass.

Remove hard stones from fruit (such as those found in mangos) before squeezing the fruit, because they may damage the microfilter.
Whilst squeezing, please take into consideration the maximum volume of the juice container (maximum 550ml).
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the juicer as follows after it has been used:
- Remove the plug from the wall socket.
- Remove the pulp dish and the juice container from the motor unit.
- Remove the handle from the recesses on both sides of the lid. Remove the lid and remove the filter holder and the microfilter from the motor unit.
- Clean the separate parts with water and a small amount of washing-up liquid. After washing, rinse all the parts with plenty of water and dry them thoroughly. The separate parts can also be cleaned in a dishwasher.
- Clean the motor unit with a damp cloth, if necessary moistened with a couple of drops of washingup liquid. After cleaning, dry the unit thoroughly.

- Verify that the appliance is not connected to the power supply before you clean it.
- Never use corrosive or scouring cleaning agents or sharp objects (such as knives or hard brushes) to clean the appliance.
- Never immerse the appliance's motor unit, the plug or the power cord in water or another liquid.
- Do not leave the removable parts to soak in soapy water for too long.
GUARANTEE TERMS
The importer guarantees the appliance against defects caused by manufacturing and/or material faults for 60 months from the date of purchase, subject to the following conditions.
- No charges will be made for labour costs or materials during the warranty period. Any repairs carried out during the warranty period do not extend the warranty period.
- The importer automatically becomes the owner of any faulty parts that he replaces or a faulty appliance (in the event of replacement of the appliance).
- All claims submitted under warranty must be accompanied by the original bill of sale.
- Claims under warranty must be submitted to the dealer where the appliance was purchased or to the importer.
- The warranty is issued solely to the first purchaser and cannot be transferred.
- The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
a. Accidents, incorrect use, wear and/or neglect.
b. Faulty installation and/or use in a manner contravening the prevailing legal, technical or safety regulations.
c. Connection to a mains voltage other than the voltage specified on the type plate.
d. Unauthorized modifications.
e. Repairs carried out by third parties.
f. Careless transport, i.e. without suitable packaging materials or protection.
- No claims may be made under this warranty for:
a. Losses incurred during transport.
b. The removal or changing of the appliance's serial number.

The guarantee does not cover power cords, lamps or glass parts.

No claims can be submitted under this warranty for damage other than the repair or replacement of faulty parts. The importer can never be held responsible for any consequential loss or damage or any other consequences, resulting either directly or indirectly from the appliance supplied by the importer.
- In case of claims under guarantee you can contact your dealer where the appliance is purchased. Bestron offers you also the possibility to send the appliance directly to our Service Department. Do not send your appliance without consulting us. The package may be refused and any any costs will be for your account. Please contact the Service Department and they will tell you how to pack and send the appliance.
- This appliance is not suitable for professional use.

Tropical cocktail
Ingredients:
2 passion fruits
1 mango
2 oranges
1 lemon
Preparation:
Remove the flesh from the passion fruit and peel the other fruit. Mix the passion fruit, add the mango and finally add the oranges and lemon. An exotic taste.....an aperitif, but without the alcohol.
Peach bowl
Ingredients:
1 mineral water
4 peaches
2 lemons
Sugar or sweetener
Ice cubes
Preparation:
Peel the peaches. Halve the fruit and remove the stones.Use the juicer to make a thick peach juice.
Squeeze the lemons and mix the peach juice, lemon juice and mineral water together. If desired, add some sugar or sweetener. Serve cold with ice cubes.
Red hot chili pepper shake
Ingredients:
150g courgettes
2 sweet red peppers
1 fresh, red Spanish pepper
75 g radishes, halved
1orange
Ice cubes
Preparation:
Cut the courgettes into pieces and squeeze them in the juicer. Halve the sweet peppers and remove the seeds and the membrane. Squeeze the pieces of sweet pepper in the juicer, followed by the Spanish pepper and the radishes. Squeeze the orange and mix the juice with the vegetable juice. Fill 2-3 glasses with ice cubes, pour the juice over the top and serve immediately.
Fruit shake
Ingredients:
1 banana
2 apples
4 oranges
2 grapefruits
2 pears
Preparation:
Wash the fruit and, if necessary, cut the fruit into large pieces. Squeeze the fruit in the juicer. Pour the fruit shake into a glass and serve immediately.
Tofu salad
Ingredients:
2% kg carrots
2 sticks of chopped celery
1 small, chopped red onion
75gmayonnaise
2 tablespoons tamari
1 tablespoon (sea) salt
- 2 teaspoons kelp powder
Green or red sweet pepper (to taste)
Tomato (to taste)
100g frozen tofu
Kelp
Preparation:
Defrost the frozen tofu and crumble it. Squeeze the carrots in the juicer. Save the pulp for the salad. Mix the tofu, celery, onion and, if used, the sweet pepper and tomato. Mix the carrot pulp through it. Next, mix the mayonnaise, tamari, salt and kelp through the mixture. Allow the mixture to cool in the refrigerator before serving.
Apple bavarois
Ingredients:
12 apples
6 gelatine leaves
3½ dl cream
2 tablespoons sugar
Pinch of cinnamon
1 tablespoon ginger juice
Preparation:
Squeeze three quarters of the apples in the juicer Boil down the apple juice to half its volume. Soak the gelatine leaves and dissolve them in the still warm juice. Allow this to cool to room temperature. Beat the cream and sugar until it is semi-firm and fold it through the jelly-like apple juice. Add cinnamon and ginger juice to taste. Allow the mixture to become firm and then spoon it into a piping bag. Cut the other apples lengthways in two and use a grapefruit knife to hollow out both halves. Squirt a small amount of the apple bavarois on the bottom half of the apples and place the top half on top. Garnish with slices of apple.
Stewed eel in chervil sauce
Ingredients:
12 new potatoes
750 ml fish stock
200 ml wheat beer
800 q eels
2 bunches watercress
1 tablespoon freshly chopped dill
1 tablespoon freshly chopped chives
- 200 ml double cream
Salt and pepper
Preparation:
Boil the potatoes in salted water until they are just cooked. Pour the fish stock and beer into a large steel pan. Cut the eel into 5 cm pieces and poach it for 4 to 5 minutes in the stock. Allow the eel to drain and keep it separate. Puree the watercress leaves, the dill and the chives in the juicer. Boil down the fish stock to one third of its volume. Add the cream and the watercress puree to the stock. Mix everything together and add herbs to taste. Add the eel and the potatoes and carefully warm everything for 3 to 4 minutes. Serve the eel on a deep plate.
Russian beetrood soup (borsjtsj)
Ingredients:
500 g shin of beef
34 I water
10 g salt ( 1 / 2 tablespoons)
2 bay leaves
- 5 peppercorns
10 cumin seeds
1 onion
1 piece of celeriac
3 raw beetroots
Leek, cabbage, carrot, celeriac (together 300-400 g)
- 50 g lard (2 tablespoons)
1 large tablespoon tomato puree
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 potatoes
2dl water
- Celery leaves or chives
2-3 dl sour cream or Bulgarian yoghurt
Preparation:
Use the meat, water, salt, herbs, onion and celeriac to make stock. Simmer the ingredients for 3-4 hours. Strain the stock, remove the herbs and, if necessary, split the meat into even smaller pieces. Cut 1 peeled, raw beetroot and all the other vegetables into strips and braise the vegetables for 5 minutes in the lard. Add the strained stock, the small pieces of meat, the tomato puree, the 2 potatoes (raw and grated), the sugar and 1 tablespoon of vinegar. Boil everything for 1 hour. Squeeze the two remaining raw beetroots in the juicer. Add the juice to the soup at the last moment. If desired, add some more salt (the taste should be reasonably acidic). Garnish the soup with finely cut celery leaves or chives.
Gazpacho (cold tomato soup)
Ingredients:
1 kg beefsteak tomatoes
Water
2 cloves of garlic
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons (wine) vinegar
Salt and pepper
1 teaspoon sugar
1 cucumber
1 sweet green pepper
1 onion
3 slices of white bread without the crust
Baking butter
Preparation:
Wash the tomatoes and squeeze them in the juicer. Measure the quantity of juice and top it up with water to make 1 litre. Finely chop the garlic. Place the tomato juice with the garlic, the oil, the salt, the pepper and the sugar in a bowl and mix everything together. Place the mixture in a soup tureen and leave it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Wash the cucumber and the sweet pepper and cut them into cubes. Chop the onion and cut the bread into cubes. Place the vegetables into separate bowls and fry the pieces of bread in the butter until they are golden brown. Serve the soup tureen in a bowl filled with ice cubes and place the bowls of vegetables and bread croutons around it.
Orange and passion fruit sorbet
Ingredients:
8 large oranges (approx. 2 kg)
4 passion fruits
200 g sugar
Preparation:
Halve the oranges, squeeze the flesh of the fruit in the juicer and throw away the pulp, the seeds and the fibres. Cut off the top of the passion fruit, scoop out the flesh of the fruit and puree it in the juicer. Rub the puree through a strainer into the bowl with the orange juice. Next, beat the sugar through the mixture and then freeze it in an ice maker or in a freezer (for the last method, it is necessary to stir the ice once every half hour to prevent ice crystals from forming). It should be frozen after approximately 3 hours.
Grape jelly
Ingredients:
1,100 g grapes
- Juice from 1 / 2 lemon
1 kg gelatine sugar
Preparation:
Squeeze the grapes in the juicer. Clean 4-5 pots in the dishwasher or with hot soda water and place them upside down on a clean tea towel. For each 34 I fruit juice, use the juice from 12 a lemon and 1 kg gelatine sugar. Boil the juice with the sugar and allow it to simmer for 7 minutes. Skim the juice and fill the pots. Leave the pots upside down for approximately 10 minutes.
