How to load paper in the main tray?

Pull the main tray forward to remove it. Adjust the paper guides to the size of your media. Insert the stack of paper (print side down) and slide the tray until it clicks into place. Be careful not to exceed the fill line.

What to do in case of a paper jam?

Open the front cover and gently remove the jammed paper by pulling in the direction of the paper path. Also check the output tray and the fuser unit. Close the cover and reset the printer if necessary.

How to replace the toner cartridge?

Open the front cover. Pull the used cartridge upward to remove it. Take the new cartridge out of its packaging, shake it gently to distribute the toner, then insert it until it clicks into place. Close the cover.

How to install the print drivers?

Download the drivers from the RICOH website. Run the installation program and follow the on-screen instructions. Connect the printer via USB or Ethernet. For network installation, ensure the printer is turned on and connected to the same network as the computer.

The printer does not print, what should I check?

Check the connections (USB or network cable). Ensure the printer is powered on and no error messages are displayed. Check the print queue status on the computer. Restart the printer and computer if necessary.

How to set up wireless printing?

The Wi-Fi option requires an optional adapter (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n). Install the adapter and use the control panel to configure the wireless network connection. You can also use the Ricoh Smart Device Print&Scan app to set up and print from a mobile device.

What does the 'Toner empty' message mean?

This message indicates that the toner cartridge is empty. The printer stops printing to protect quality. Replace the cartridge with a new SP 6430A cartridge (part number 407507). You can also use the Toner Save mode to extend cartridge life.

How to perform duplex printing?

Automatic duplex printing is enabled by default. In the print settings, select the Duplex option (or 2-sided). You can also choose manual duplex printing via the multi-function tray if necessary.

Where to find the printer serial number?

The serial number is located on a label at the back of the device. It is also displayed in the System Information menu accessible via the control panel.

How to clean the printer?
