How to connect the Edision OS MINI decoder?

Connect the power adapter to the decoder and to a wall socket. Connect the satellite antenna to LNB 1 IN or LNB 2 IN according to your setup. Connect the HDMI cable to your TV. Turn on the decoder with the power button.

How to perform channel search?

Go to the 'Installation' or 'Channel Search' menu. Select the search type (satellite, terrestrial or cable). Make sure the LNB settings are correct (frequency, polarization). Start automatic or manual search. The channels will be saved.

My decoder finds no channels, what to do?

Check the antenna cables (satellite or terrestrial). Make sure the LNB is powered (LNB Power setting enabled). Check search parameters: correct satellite, appropriate LNB frequency. Test with another cable or receiver.

How to update the decoder's software?

Download the latest firmware from Edision's official website. Copy the file to a USB key formatted in FAT32. Plug the key into the decoder's USB port. Go to 'Settings' > 'Software update' and follow the instructions.

How to record a program on a USB key?

Plug in a USB key formatted as FAT32 or NTFS. During broadcast, press the 'Record' button on the remote control. To schedule a recording, use the EPG (program guide) and select 'Record'.

What to do if the remote control does not work?

Check the batteries of the remote control. Make sure there is no obstacle between the remote and the decoder's infrared sensor. Try resetting the remote by removing the batteries for 30 seconds.

How to set up parental control?

Go to 'Settings' > 'Parental Control'. Enable it and set a 4-digit PIN. You can then block channels or programs according to their rating (age).

The decoder turns off by itself, why?

Check the auto standby settings in 'Settings' > 'Power'. If the problem persists, it may be overheating: make sure the ventilation slots are not blocked.

What video formats are supported by the USB port?

The decoder supports common formats such as MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, AVI, MKV. To play files, connect a USB key or external hard drive and use the 'Media Player' menu.

How to reset the decoder to factory settings?

Go to 'Settings' > 'Factory reset'. Confirm with the PIN code (default 0000 or 1234). Warning: all channels and settings will be erased. You will need to perform channel search again.

1. Please refer to the Safety Instruction before powering on the device.
2. Connect Edision OS mini to your TV set using HDMI cable or a RCA cable.

Note

Use an HDMI or Component cable in order to view HD.

1. Connect the coaxial cable (from the satellite dish) to the LNB INPUT of Edision OS mini, alternatively the aerial cable of your cable network operator or of your DVB T Antenna to the Antenna In Input.
2. Power on the Edision OS mini.
3. After booting up, Initial setup menu comes up for the installation according to your TV settings and Antenna settings.
