How to connect my phone via Bluetooth?
Make sure the BT IN menu is set to ON (in SETUP > BLUETOOTH). Enable Bluetooth on your phone and search for devices. Select 'Alpine Digital Media Receiver' (or 'Alpine CD Receiver' depending on model). If pairing requests a code, enter 0000 (four zeros) or follow on-screen instructions.
How to adjust bass, mid, and treble?
Press and hold AUDIO/SETUP for 2 seconds to enter SETUP menu. Turn the rotary knob to select AUDIO then press Q/ENTER. Choose 3BAND EQ then adjust BASS, MID and TREBLE in succession. You can adjust the center frequency, bandwidth (Q) and level for each band.
What to do if the radio does not pick up stations?
Check that the antenna is properly connected. Press TUNE/A.ME to switch to DX SEEK mode (distance) to receive all stations. If the problem persists, perform auto preset by holding TUNE/A.ME for 2 seconds. Make sure you are in an area with good reception.
How to memorize a radio station?
Select the band (FM1/FM2/FM3/MW/LW) with BAND and tune to the desired station. Press and hold one of the preset buttons (1 to 6) for at least 2 seconds. The station is memorized and the display shows confirmation. You can memorize up to 30 stations (6 per band).
How to play music from a USB flash drive?
Connect the USB flash drive to the front USB port (or rear depending on model). Press SOURCE/ to select USB AUDIO source. Playback starts automatically. Use ◀▶ buttons to change tracks and ▼▲ to navigate between folders if the drive contains multiple directories.
How to use the AUX input?

Then press SOURCE/ to select AUXILIARY. The sound from your device will be played through the car speakers.
What to do if the device displays 'ERROR'?
The error may come from a disc (for models with CD player) or a USB flash drive. If it is a disc, eject it with and reinsert it correctly. For a USB flash drive, check that it is formatted in FAT 12/16/32 and does not contain protected files (DRM). If the error persists, press the RESET button with a ballpoint pen after removing the front panel.
How to reset the device?
Turn off the device, remove the detachable front panel. With a ballpoint pen or pointed object, press the RESET button located on the front of the main unit. Replace the front panel and turn the device back on. This restores factory settings.
How to activate traffic announcements (TA)?
In radio mode, press and hold BAND/TA for at least 2 seconds until the TA indicator lights up. The device then searches for stations broadcasting traffic information. During reception, the volume can be adjusted automatically. To deactivate, press and hold BAND/TA again for 2 seconds.
How to adjust the high-pass filter (HPF)?
In the SETUP menu, select AUDIO then HPF. Choose the cutoff frequency: 60, 80, 120 or 160 Hz. Frequencies above the selected value will be reproduced, which helps avoid unwanted low frequencies in the front speakers. Set to OFF to disable the filter.
