Rock Star Guitar Information and Instructions
Thank you for purchasing this GAMERON™ product. Please save this instruction manual for future reference to ensure the best performance from your product.
1. Introduction
The "Rock Star Guitar" is a wireless illuminating guitar.
Compatible with the WiT™, PS2™ and PS3™
Compatible with the Rock Band™ and Guitar Hero™ music games
Comes with the new slide touch feature on the guitar neck for difficult game modes

3. Playing instructions
A. Using the guitar
Turning on the guitar:
Insert 3 AA batteries in the compartment on the back of the guitar.
Turn on the guitar using the on/off switch on the side of the guitar.
Batteries provide 7 to 8 hours of play on the PS2^TM and PS3^TM .
Used with the WiTM, the Wii Remote™ powers the guitar functions. Batteries only provide power to the LED lights.
Sleep mode:
The guitar will enter sleep mode, if it fails to sync with the console for more than 30 seconds.
The guitar will enter sleep mode after 5 minutes of inactivity.
Operation:
The Rock Star Guitar's game functions are identical to those found on official game guitars.
For further details regarding these functions, please refer to your game's instructions.
Attention:
Ensure the batteries are properly inserted to avoid malfunctions.
Battery level indicator: change the batteries when the 4 red LEDs on the guitar start to blink.
Battery life may vary depending on the type of batteries used.

B. For the WiiTM
Start the music game of your choice.
Insert a Wii Remote™ into the guitar's special Wii Remote™ slot.
Follow the on-screen instructions to play.
C. For the PS2TM
Start the music game of your choice.
Connect the receiver to one of the PS2^TM ports, then select the proper game mode.
The red LEDs indicate that the guitar is synced to the console.
Follow the on-screen instructions to play.
D. For the PS3TM
Start the music game of your choice.
Connect the receiver to one of the PS3™ USB ports, then select the proper game mode.
Turn on the guitar, and press the PS Button to activate the guitar's functions.
The red LEDs indicate that the guitar is synced to the console.
Follow the on-screen instructions to play.
Attention:
If you have problems using the guitar with the game, please refer to the game's instructions.
With the PS2^TM and PS3^TM , make sure the receiver is set to the correct game mode to ensure the guitar functions properly.
Warranty
This product is guaranteed for three (3) years from the date of purchase. In the event of product failure resulting from material or manufacturing defects during this period, the retailer who sold the product will replace this product with an identical or similar model upon presentation of the cash register receipt or valid proof of purchase. This Warranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents, incorrect use, or any use for which this product was not designed.
Important Instructions and Precautions
- Children should not use this product without the supervision of an adult.
- Never expose this product to direct sunlight, bad weather, humidity, high temperatures, or physical shocks.
- Do not immerse this product in liquid.
- Use indoors only.
- Do not use this product if it is damaged.
- Do not disassemble this product. Doing so will void this Warranty.
- Use a humid, soft, clean cloth to clean the product. The use of detergents can damage this product.
Battery Care and Maintenance
- Only use batteries supplied with, or intended for, this product.
- Ensure the batteries are correctly inserted.
- Remove batteries from this product during long periods of non-use.
- Never dispose of batteries in a fire as they may explode.
- Do not put used batteries in the trash. Dispose of them at a proper collection point for used batteries and hazardous waste.
- Children should never replace or charge batteries without supervision.

Recycling
Do not discard this product with common household rubbish. This product must be disposed of at a Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) collection point for recycling. The recycling and transformation of waste electrical and electronic equipment will contribute significantly to the protection of the environment and reduce the volume of waste in dumps and landfills.
Batteries must be discarded at a designated collection point for the recycling of used-batteries and hazardous waste.
