• This pergola is intended solely for domestic outdoor use as sun and light weather protection.
• Any modification or improper installation may cause structural failure or injury.
  • Children and pets must be supervised around the pergola at all times.
• Do not climb or play on the frame, especially near corners or supports.
• The polyester roof material is flammable; keep away from open flames, grills, fire pits, and heating devices.
• Maintain a safe distance from any heat source to avoid fire hazards.
• Do not smoke or use candles directly under the roof.
• The use of non-original parts, incorrect assembly, or disregard of these instructions may void the warranty.
• The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage or injury caused by misuse, overloading, or severe weather conditions.

Notes on installation and assembly

• Installation must be carried out by competent persons familiar with general assembly and anchoring methods.
• Mount only on a solid, level, and load-bearing surface, such as concrete, stone, or properly reinforced decking.
  • Before drilling or anchoring, check that no electrical, gas, or water lines are present below the

mounting area.

• Use only the original fasteners and anchors supplied or approved by the manufacturer.
• Assemble the pergola with at least two people to ensure safety and stability.
• During assembly, avoid windy conditions and ensure all parts are temporarily secured.
• The structure must be anchored securely to prevent lifting or movement in strong winds.
• The pergola is suitable for seasonal or year-round outdoor use, but it should not be used in extreme conditions such as storms, heavy snowfall, or hail.

Notes on operation

• In wind speeds exceeding 50 km/h, remove or securely fasten the roof cover to prevent damage.
• The polyester roof material (180 g/m ² , PA-coated) is water-repellent, not fully waterproof. Remove standing water promptly to avoid fabric damage.
• Do not climb, sit, or hang objects on the frame, roof, or mosquito net rails.
• Avoid attaching heavy decorations, hanging lights, or planters that may exceed the design load.
• Keep all joints, connectors, and moving parts free of obstructions.
• If electrical accessories (e.g. lighting) are installed, they must comply with Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and be fitted by qualified electricians.

Notes on maintenance and inspection

• Inspect all screws, bolts, and anchoring points twice per year and after severe weather.
• Tighten any loose connections immediately.
• Clean the polyester roof and curtains only with lukewarm water and mild soap.
• Do not use solvents, bleach, or high-pressure cleaners.
• Remove leaves, dirt, and snow accumulation promptly to maintain stability and prevent corrosion.
• Lubricate any moving or hinged parts (such as curtain rails or sliding connectors) with non-resinous lubricants.
• Replace damaged parts only with original Blumfeldt spare parts to maintain safety certification.
  • Perform a seasonal inspection in spring and autumn.
• Remove heavy snow loads immediately to prevent frame deformation.
• Apply corrosion protection annually if the pergola is installed near the sea or exposed to road salt.
