Frequently Asked Questions - ProArt PA32KCX ASUS

How do I connect the ProArt PA32KCX to my computer?
Use a DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.1 cable from your computer to the corresponding port on the monitor. If your laptop supports USB-C, you can also connect via the USB-C port, which provides video input and 96W power delivery.
How do I clean the monitor screen safely?
Turn off the monitor and unplug the power cable. Use a soft microfiber cloth slightly dampened with water or a specialized screen cleaner. Avoid ammonia-based or alcohol-based solutions, as they can damage the anti-glare coating. Gently wipe in a circular motion.
Can I adjust the monitor stand?
Yes, the stand supports height adjustment, tilt, swivel, and pivot. Firmly hold the monitor edges and adjust the stand using the hinged mechanisms. The monitor can also be VESA mounted using a 100 x 100 mm mount.
How do I enable HDR mode?
Press the joystick button on the back to open the OSD menu. Navigate to Image > HDR and select Auto or HDR-1000. Ensure your source device is outputting an HDR signal and the correct HDR format is selected in the OS.
Why does the screen flicker at certain brightness levels?
Flickering can be caused by incorrect refresh rate settings or a failing video cable. Set the refresh rate to 60 Hz in your OS display settings. Ensure you are using a certified cable that supports 8K bandwidth (e.g., DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.1). If the issue persists, update the firmware of the monitor.
How do I mount the monitor on a wall?
The monitor supports VESA 100 x 100 mm mounts. Remove the stand by pushing a release button on the stand neck, then attach the VESA bracket to the back panel using four screws (M4 type). Follow the wall mount manufacturer's instructions.
How can I calibrate the monitor colors?
The ProArt PA32KCX supports hardware calibration. Download and install the ProArt Calibration software from the ASUS website. Connect a colorimeter to the monitor and run the calibration wizard. The monitor stores the calibration profile in internal memory, so connected devices receive accurate colors.
How do I update the monitor firmware?
Go to the ASUS ProArt support page and download the latest firmware file. Connect a USB drive formatted in FAT32 to the monitor's USB port, place the extracted file on the drive, then open the OSD menu and select System > Software Update. Follow the on-screen instructions. The monitor will restart automatically after updating.
Can the USB-C port charge my laptop?
Yes, the USB-C port supports Power Delivery up to 96W. Connect your laptop's USB-C cable to the monitor; the laptop will receive power and video signal da carte (and data depending on model). Make sure the monitor is connected to an AC power outlet.
What is the best way to reduce eye strain?
Use the Low Blue Light mode in the OSD menu under Image > Low Blue Light. Set it to one of the four presets based on your viewing environment. Additionally, adjust the brightness and contrast to comfortable levels and take regular breaks following the 20-20-20 rule.

Upstream: Use an USB Type-C cable and plug on end of the Type-C connector to the monitor's USB Type-C port as upstream and the other end to your computer's USB Type-C jack. Or use an USB Type-C to Type-A cable and plug the Type-C connector to the monitor's USB Type-C as upstream and the Type-A connector to your computer's USB Type-A jack. Make sure your computer is installed with the Windows, macOS operating system. That will enable the USB ports on the monitor to work.
» Downstream: Use an USB cable to connect your device with the monitor's USB Type-A jack.
