How to set the time on the microwave?

In standby mode, press the Clock button once or twice to choose the 12 h or 24 h format. Turn the Menu/Time selector to set the hours, confirm with Clock, then set the minutes and confirm again.

What is the maximum power of the microwave?

The output power is 900 W. The input power is 1400 W. The oven offers 11 power levels, from 0% to 100%.

How to use the grill?

Press the Grill button, turn the Menu/Time selector to choose the duration (maximum 95 minutes), then press Start. Ideal for steaks, sausages, skewers or for gratinating.

How does the Combi mode work?

Press Combi once or twice to choose Combi 1 (30% microwave, 70% grill) or Combi 2 (55% microwave, 45% grill), set the time and start cooking with Start.

How to defrost food?

Turn the Menu/Time selector counterclockwise to select code 10. Press Weight to indicate the weight (100 g to 1800 g), then start with Quick Start. Remember to turn the food over during the cycle.

How to program a delayed start with the timer?

Select your cooking program, press Timer, set the start time with the selector, confirm, then press Start. The oven will start automatically at the chosen time. Note that QuickStart and Defrost are not programmable.

What containers can be used in the microwave?

Use microwave-safe dishes, heat-resistant glass, suitable plastic, baking paper or paper towel. Avoid metal, aluminium, wood, cardboard with a metal handle and polystyrene.

How to clean the microwave?

Unplug the appliance, clean the interior with a damp cloth, never immerse the oven in water and do not use abrasive products or steam. Clean the rotating ring and base regularly.

What foods should not be heated in the microwave?

How to activate child safety?

• This microwave is intended to be built-in or installed in a piece of furniture. You must leave at least 100 cm of free space on top of the appliance. • The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of external timers or separate remote-control systems.
• Do not operate the microwave when empty.

• Do not place hot or frozen food or utensils on the turntable to prevent breakage.

• After using the microwave, the container used may be very hot. Use gloves to avoid burns and injuries.

• The appliance cannot be cleaned with steam.

2. BEFORE USE

• This microwave features a packaging designed to protect it during transport. Take the microwave out of the box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the microwave when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
• Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

ENGLISH

• The appliance must be placed on a flat, stable, and dry place and kept away from corrosive materials, heat, and humidity-producing substances or appliances, such as burners or water.
• The appliance must be placed at least 5 m away from TVs, radios, or antennas.
• The appliance must be placed in such way that the plug is accessible, and the socket must be properly earthed to avoid electric shocks.
• Make sure to close the microwave door for proper operation.
• In case there is any manufacturing remains in the microwave cavity or on the heating elements, leave the microwave open to ensure good ventilation. In such case, it is recommended to heat a glass of water at high power for several times.
• Warning: do not remove the mica plate.

3. INSTALLATION

5. Screw the 4 support feet into the bottom of the microwave. Fig. 4

6. Attach the decorative rings to the support feet at the bottom of the microwave. Fig. 4
7. In figure 5, you can see the dimensions required for the installation. Make sure that the cabinet has the correct dimensions.
8. Secure the upper ventilation guide with 4 screws. Pay attention to the opening at the back. Fig. 6.
9. Fix the frame using the 4 screws. Fig. 7
10. Insert the microwave in the cabinet. Fig. 8
11. Make sure that the microwave is installed in the centre of the cabinet. Fig. 9

4. OPERATION

Display

The display will show the cooking time, power, mode, and time.

Power level

Press the power level button to select the desired microwave power level.

Clock

Press the clock button to set the microwave time.

Weight

Press this button to select the food weight.

Grill

Press this button to use the grill cooking programme.

Combi

Select this function to combine the microwave and grill function.

Timer

Set the microwave to start cooking automatically at the set time.

Start/QuickStart

Press this button to start a cooking programme or to select the QuickStart programme.

Stop/Cancel

Press this button to cancel settings or to stop a programme.

Menu/time knob

Turn the selection knob to set the cooking time or to select a menu programme.

Using the microwave

• During the setting configuration, the microwave will return to Standby mode after 20 seconds of inactivity.
• During the cooking process, press Stop/Cancel to pause the microwave, and press Start/QuickStart to restart the microwave or Stop/Cancel to cancel the programme.
• Once a programme has finished, the device will beep every 2 minutes until the door is opened or a button is pressed.

Setting the time

The microwave has a 24-hour or 12-hour clock. During operation, press the Clock button to check the current time.

Example: set the microwave time to 8:30.

1. In standby mode, press the Clock button once or twice to select the 24- or 12-hour system.
2. Turn the Menu/Time knob to select 8 hours.

ENGLISH

1. Press the Clock button once to confirm the time.
2. Turn the Menu/Time knob to select 30 minutes.
3. Press the Clock button once to confirm the settings.
4. Press the Clock button during operation: the current time will be shown on the display for 3 seconds.

Microwave cooking

• To cook in Microwave mode, simply select the power level by pressing the power level button repeatedly, then use the Time/Menu knob to set the desired cooking time. The maximum cooking time for this programme is 95 minutes.
• Press the power button to select the desired power level.

Example: cooking for 5 minutes at 60% microwave power.

1. Press the power level button repeatedly until 60% is selected.
2. Turn the Menu/Time knob to select 05:00.
3. Press the Start/QuickStart button.

Note:

Check the power level during operation by pressing the power level button.

Once the programme is finished, the microwave will beep and show End on the display. Before operating the microwave again, press Stop/Cancel to reboot the system and clear the display settings.

Grill cooking

The maximum cooking time for this mode is 95 minutes.

The grill is particularly useful for cooking thin cuts of meat, cutlets, chops, sausages, and chicken. It can also be used to heat sandwiches or grill dishes.

Example: grilling for 12 minutes.

1. Press the Grill button.
2. Turn the Menu/Time knob to set 12:00.
3. Press the Start/QuickStart button.

Combi

The maximum cooking time for this mode is 95 minutes.

Example: setting combi 1 for 25 minutes.

1. Press the Combi button once or twice to select the desired combination mode.
2. Turn the Menu/Time knob to set 25:00.
3. Press the Start/QuickStart button.

Timer function

This function allows you to set a cooking programme to be activated at the desired time.

Example: it is 11:10 and you want the microwave to start cooking at 11:30.

1. From Standby mode, select the desired cooking programme.
2. Press the Timer button once.
3. Turn the Menu/Time knob to select 11 hours (time).
4. Press the Timer button once.
5. Turn the Menu/Timer knob to set it to 11:30 (select 30 minutes).

6. Press the Start/QuickStart button once.

7. Press the Timer button to check the set time. The display will show it for 5 seconds. During these 5 seconds, press Stop/Cancel to cancel the timer.

Note: the QuickStart and Defrost functions cannot be programmed.

QuickStart

- When this programme is selected, the microwave will cook the food in a short time at maximum power (100% microwave power). The maximum cooking time for this programme is 10 minutes.

ENGLISH

- Press the Start/QuickStart button repeatedly to select the desired cooking time, the microwave will start cooking immediately at full power.

Default cooking programmes

• These programmes have default power and cooking time. When using these programmes, only select the type of food and the weight.
• Open the door and place the food in the microwave. Close the door.
• In Standby mode, turn the Menu/Timer knob counterclockwise to select the code for the food to be cooked.
• Press the Weight button repeatedly until selecting the desired weight or number of servings.
• Press the Start/QuickStart button.

Note:

• The user must set the weight, and the microwave will automatically set the time.
• For milk or coffee and potatoes, number of servings are used instead of weight.
• For chicken, lamb, beef and beef brochette, the microwave will stop during the process to remind you to turn the food over for even cooking.

Automatic defrosting

The microwave allows defrosting food based on the set weight. The power level and defrosting time are automatically adjusted based on the set weight. The weight range of frozen food is 100-1800 g.

Example: defrosting 600 g of prawns.

1. In standby mode, turn the Menu/Timer knob counterclockwise to select "10".
2. Press the Weight button to select the weight of the food to be defrosted: 600 g.
3. Press the Start/QuickStart button.

Warning: the microwave will stop during the defrosting cycle to turn the food over. Turn the food over and press the Start/QuickStart button.

Multi-sequence cooking

A maximum of 2 sequences can be set for a cooking process. If one of the sequences included is defrosting, it should be set as the first one.

Note: Quick Start, Auto Defrost and Auto Menu cannot be configured as one of the multiple sequences.

Example: cooking in microwave mode and then in grill mode.

1. Press the Stop/Cancel button to reset the system.
2. Set the Microwave mode.
3. Set the Grill mode.
4. Press Start/QuickStart to start cooking.
5. The respective indicator lights will light up to indicate which sequence is in operation. When it is completely finished, the microwave will beep.

Child lock

• This function is designed to prevent small children from operating the appliance. The child lock indicator light will light up on the display and the microwave will be locked.
• If the appliance is not used for 1 minute and the door is left open, or when entering Standby mode, this function will be enabled automatically. All buttons will be disabled. The lock indicator light will come on.
• To disable the child lock, open or close the door. The lock indicator light will switch off.

5. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

• Food arrangement: place the thickest food parts towards the edge of the turntable. Do not put food on top of other food if possible.
• Watch the cooking time: cook for the shortest amount of time at first and add more minutes if necessary. Over-cooking may result in smoke and burns.
• Cover food while cooking: covering the food you are going to cook avoids spattering and allows for a more even cooking.
• Flip or stir food during the cooking process.
• It is important to use materials and containers which are suitable and safe for microwave cooking. The table below shows which materials are suitable and which are not:

6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• The microwave, as well as food remains, must be cleaned, and removed regularly.
• Unplug the cord from the power supply before cleaning. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid during cleaning.
• The lack of maintenance and cleaning of the product may cause a deterioration on its surface and affect its lifespan. Keep the inside of the microwave clean.
• Wipe up splashes or spilled liquids with a damp cloth.
• Do not use strong detergents, powder abrasives, or metal brushes to clean the appliance.
• Do not allow the control panel to become wet.
• Do not remove the mica plate cover.
• If steam builds up inside or around the outside of the microwave door, wipe it with a soft cloth. This may occur when the microwave oven is operated under high humidity conditions and is normal.
• The turntable ring assembly and surface of the microwave should be cleaned regularly to avoid excessive noise. Clean the microwave base with a cloth and mild detergent.
• Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the gaskets, door, interior walls, and turntable.
• When the microwave has been used for a long time, some strong odours may arise from inside. To eliminate these odours, you can use any of the following options:
  a. Place several lemon slices in a cup and heat them at high power for 2 or 3 minutes.
  b. Place a cup of red tea inside the microwaves and heat it at high power for 2 or 3 minutes.
  c. Place orange peels inside the microwaves and heat them at high power for 1 minute.
