Read the following instructions carefully before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
• This appliance is intended for domestic use only and is not suitable for use in commercial establishments such as bars, restaurants, farms, hotels, motels, and offices.
• Inspect the power cable regularly for visible damage, especially the cable, plug, and charger casing. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced with a special cable or set to be supplied by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service. The power adapter is to be properly discarded.
• The appliance must be powered at a low safety voltage as stated on the product marking.
• Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service for any query or repair.
• Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the appliance marking and that the mains plug is earthed.
• Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped or if there are any visible signs of damage.

• Do not use any accessory that has not been recommended by Cecotec, as they might cause injuries or damage.

• Do not place the appliance close to heat sources, flammable substances, or wet surfaces where it could fall, nor allow it to come into contact with water or other liquids. Do not use outdoors.

• Do not use the appliance to vacuum liquids, lit matches, cigarette ends, hot ash, or on wet surfaces.
• Stop using the appliance if you notice an abnormal sound or sense a temperature higher than usual.
• Keep the air outlet unblocked to avoid losing suction power.
• Do not block the appliance openings or airflow. Keep openings free of any objects, and do not block them with clothes or your fingers.
• Do not pull on the cable to disconnect the appliance. Pull from the plug.
• Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any other non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid or expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are completely dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.

Battery instructions

• WARNING: to recharge the battery, use only the power supply included with the appliance, with reference TYGSDC2700500.
• The appliance contains a battery that should only be replaced by qualified personnel.
• Keep the batteries out of the reach of children. Pay particular attention to small batteries. In case of battery ingestion, please seek medical attention immediately.
• Do not expose the battery to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
• Both batteries and cells can leak under extreme conditions. In the event of a battery leak, keep your skin and eyes away

from the liquid. If the liquid comes into contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, rinse them immediately with clean water for at least 10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves to handle the battery and dispose of it immediately in accordance with local regulations.

• Do not use any charger other than the one supplied specifically for this appliance.
• Secondary batteries must be charged before use. Always use the specified charger and refer to these instructions.
• Do not leave the battery on prolonged charge when not in use.
• After long periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the batteries several times to obtain maximum performance.
• Keep this instruction manual for future reference.
• Use the battery only for its intended purpose, i.e., for use with this appliance.
• Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged.

2. BEFORE USE

• This appliance comes in a packaging designed to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging materials in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, make sure all items are recycled properly.
• Check that all parts and components are included and in good condition. If any of them are missing or damaged, please contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION

• Regularly check that there are no strange objects on the nozzle that may cause damage to susceptible surfaces.
• Insert the desired accessory into the main unit.
• Press the power button to switch on the vacuum cleaner.
• Press it again to switch off the vacuum cleaner.

Charging light indicator

• Do not connect the charger while you use the product.
• Make sure the vacuum cleaner is switched off before connecting the charger. Connect the charger to the power socket.
• The blue indicator light will flash when the device is connected to the charger.
• The blue indicator light will be steady when it is operating.
• The charger may heat during charge, this is normal.
• When the battery level is low, the light indicator will flash.

Warnings

• Do not use the vacuum cleaner while it is charging.
• Do not leave the vacuum cleaner charging if you are not going to use it for long periods of time.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Use a soft, dampened and clean cloth to clean the product's exterior housing.
• Wash the dirt tank with water and dry it carefully before putting it back into the vacuum cleaner.
• Check the filter condition regularly. If it is dirt, clean it with a small brush and rinse it with water. Allow it to air dry for 24 hours and reinstall it when it is completely dry.

• Remove the dirt tank by pressing the release button.
• Remove the filter and the plastic protection, and empty the dirt tank content. Shake the filter or clean it with warm water, without detergent. Make sure all parts are dry before putting them back in place.
• Wash and rinse the tank if necessary.

ENGLISH

- Place the tank back in its position. A click will be heard indicating that it is correctly positioned.

Note:

Make sure all parts are dry before placing them again in their position.

- Place the filter in the dirt tank. Place the dirt tank in the main unit following the removing procedure in the reverse order.

5. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES

This symbol indicates that, according to the applicable regulations, the product and/or batteries must be disposed of separately from household waste. When this product reaches the end of its service life, you must remove the batteries/accumulators and take it to a collection point designated by local authorities.

For detailed information on how to properly dispose of electrical and electronic equipment and/or the corresponding batteries, consumers should contact their local authorities.
