Frequently Asked Questions - DRZ1025B BEKO

How do I clean the condenser filter?
Open the access door at the bottom (or behind the flap), slide out the condenser unit, rinse it under running water, brush off fluff, and dry it before reinstalling. Regular cleaning keeps the heat pump efficient.
Why is my dryer not drying clothes completely?
Check that the fluff filter and condenser are clean, the water tank is empty, and the load does not exceed the recommended capacity. Also ensure the selected program matches the fabric type.
What is the maximum load capacity for cotton?
The maximum capacity is 10 kg for cotton. Reduce the load for delicates and synthetics to achieve optimal drying results and protect fabrics.
How do I clean the fluff filter?
After each cycle, open the door, pull the fluff filter, remove the lint by hand or with a soft brush, then rinse under water if necessary. Let it dry fully before putting it back. A clean filter reduces drying time and energy use.
Can I use the dryer without a drain hose connection?
Yes, this is a condenser dryer. The moisture is collected in a water tank. Empty the tank after every cycle. Alternatively, you can install the provided drain hose to direct water away, if your model supports it.
How do I activate the child lock?
Press and hold the child lock button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator appears. To unlock, press and hold again. This prevents accidental setting changes during a cycle.
What should I do if the dryer stops during a cycle?
Check if the door is fully closed, the water tank is full, the filters are blocked, or the program has been interrupted. Press the Start/Pause button to continue. If the problem persists, contact after-sales service.
How can I reduce creasing in my laundry?
Use the anti-crease option, which rotates the drum at intervals for up to 60 minutes after the cycle ends. Also, remove clothes as soon as the cycle is finished and fold them immediately.
What is the energy consumption for a typical cycle?
For a 10 kg heat pump dryer, a full cotton cycle requires about 2.4 kWh. The energy efficiency class is A++, helping to save on electricity bills.
Can I dry wool or delicate items in this dryer?
Yes, select the delicate or wool program, which use lower temperatures and reduced drum action. Always check the care labels on garments before drying.
