How to open and unfold the fan?

To open the fan, pull it upwards, locating the "OPEN" mark. Then unfold it in the direction of the arrow. The fixing system activates automatically and the angle becomes 90°.

How to adjust the fan speed?

Turn on the fan by pressing the on/off button twice. Then select the speed by pressing the corresponding button. The fan has 4 speeds; a fifth press turns off the device. The speed indicator lights up to confirm the selection.

How to recharge the fan battery?

Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.

• This device is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
• Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the appliance marking and that the wall outlet is earthed.
• Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service or similar qualified personnel to avoid risks.

• Do not expose batteries to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
• Batteries may leak under extreme conditions. In the event of a battery leak, keep your skin and eyes away from the liquid. If the liquid gets into contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, wash them immediately with clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves to handle the battery and dispose of it immediately in accordance with local regulations.

2. BEFORE USE

• This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
• Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION

1. Pull the fan upwards to unfold it. To do so, locate the "OPEN" mark. Fig. 2
2. Move the fan in the direction of the arrow. Fig. 3

3. The clamping system will be activated automatically; therefore, the fan angle will be 90^ . Fig. 4

4. You can move the fan 180^ to the left/right and up/down. Fig. 5.

5. Switch on the fan by pressing the power button twice and choose the speed (press the corresponding button as many times as you wish). The fan has 4 speeds, if you press the button a fifth time, it will switch off. Fig. 6

NOTE: Once the speed has been chosen, the corresponding indicator light will light up.

2. To fold up the fan again, raise the clamping device. Fig. 8
3. Then, fold down the telescopic tube and fold the fan as shown in Fig. 9.
4. Finally, press the fan grille with both hands. To open, press it and turn it counterclockwise. Fig. 10

WARNING:

• Use a suitable adapter to charge the fan.
• The appliance is equipped with a built-in, non-removable lithium polymer battery. Do not place near fire or immerse in water. There is a risk of spontaneous combustion, so do not expose it to the sun or leave it in a place where the temperature is too high.

NOTE: If the fan is not used for a long period of time, the battery may be damaged. We therefore recommend that you charge it at least once every three months. Charge it before using the fan.

Battery removal

To facilitate proper recycling of the product, follow these steps to remove the battery:

1. Remove the anti-slip stickers at the bottom of the base.
2. Remove the four screws that are exposed by removing the previous parts.
3. Remove the base cover.
4. Disconnect the battery and remove it for proper recycling.

NOTE:

Removal of the battery should only be done for the purpose of recycling the appliance.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. The grille can be removed for cleaning dust. The inside of the fan can be cleaned with a dry cloth, do not get it wet. Fig. 11
2. After cleaning the grille, dry it and replace it by turning it clockwise. Fig. 12

NOTE: Do not clean the main fan unit with water, simply use a dry cloth.
