2. BEFORE USE

• This appliance comes in a packaging designed to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging materials in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, make sure all items are recycled properly.
• Check that all parts and components are included and in good condition. If any of them are missing or damaged, please contact the Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service immediately.
• Do not remove the product's serial number in order to keep proper traceability if technical assistance is required.

3. OPERATION

Warnings:

• The maximum capacity allowed by the product is 1.8 litres; do not exceed this amount.
• Do not use the blender when it is empty. It is recommended to fill with 2 parts fruit to 3 parts water.
• The maximum continuous operation time is 2 minutes. Do not exceed this maximum operating time.

Speed knob

1. Position "0" indicates the blender is switched off.
2. Positions "1" and "2" indicate the blender is switched on and operating, with speed in position "2" being faster than position "1".
3. Position "P" indicates the blender is operating at maximum speed.

Product features and protection systems

• Safety switch:
  The product will not operate if the jug is not properly fitted or is removed during use. To reset, place the jug, set the dial to "0" and switch on again.
• Overheating protection:
  If the motor becomes overloaded, the thermal limiter stops the product to prevent damage. Allow the motor to cool down for 30 minutes before using it again. If the LED light flashes and does not work, wait another 10-20 minutes.
• Overcurrent protection:
  If the blade becomes blocked by very hard or large food items, the current limiter stops the appliance. Switch off, remove the food items and resume use.

Blender jug base disassembly method (Fig. 2)

1. Remove the blender jug lid, place the blender upside down with the rim on a flat, dry surface. Hold the appliance body with one hand and grip the glass jug handle with the other to unscrew it anticlockwise.
2. Turn the jug base anticlockwise to disassemble and release the blade assembly and sealing ring for cleaning.
3. To assemble, place the blade assembly with the sealing ring in the glass jug base, and firmly screw it clockwise onto the glass jug.
4. Then, screw the glass jug clockwise onto the blender base.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Cleaning

- To clean the blades properly, first rinse the jug with water. Fill the jug with 400 ml of

lukewarm water and add some detergent soap. Close the jug with the lid and operate the appliance in Turbo function (P) in 2-second intervals. Repeat the process as many times as necessary.

• Set the knob in the "0" position, place the switch in the off position and unplug the appliance after each use and before cleaning.
• Use water to clean the jug. Do not use chemical or harsh abrasive cleaning agents.
• Use a dry, soft cloth to clean the motor base. Do not clean this part with a wet cloth.

Maintenance

If the product does not operate properly, makes unusual noises or shakes more than usual, stop using the product and contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service. Do not carry out maintenance tasks yourself.

Storage

• After cleaning the blender, make sure to dry it carefully before storing it.
• After using the product, store it in a dry, safe place. Avoid direct exposure to sun light.
• Make sure it is stored in a place out of the reach of children.
